Recently we headed up to Byron Bay to catch up with Damita and Nathan for their maternity shoot! Last time we caught up with Damita and Nathan was on our way home from Cambodia, Damita at that stage not knowingly was just a few weeks pregnant.- Look how gorgeous she is now.

The first half of our shoot didn’t look to promising, we thought we may have had to go use some studio space arranged by Kelli our stylist as it was just pouring!!  It must have looked rather funny for onlookers watching Mike, I, Damita and Nathan running out of the rain!!

The weather soon cleared up, so we headed to the pass and got some beautiful images before the sunset!!!

Thanks for a great shoot, we are really looking forward to meeting your precious little boy when he is born in just a few weeks time!!!

On Saturday the 2nd after we photographed Preeti we headed to the wedding of Sonya and Calvin! Currently Sonya and Calvin call Africa home, so had to make the long flight back to Coffs Harbour to celebrate their special day with friends and family.

Sonya and Calvin went against tradition and meet up with each other prior to the ceremony. This is becoming a very popular option in the states were it is traditionally called “the first look”. Sonya and Calvin walked down the isle together at the beautiful 1st tee at the Bonville Golf Resort.

It was a gorgeous afternoon, it was so peaceful shooting with the sound of thunder around the resort…. . I just love a good storm…. thankfully thou the rain held off until the reception was well under the way.

It was a great day and was a real priveledge to photograph their special day…. have a great time on your honeymoon guys!!

I have been really looking forward to posting this gorgeous entry!! Preeti is the first Indian Bride that we have had the honour of photographing. Last Saturday morning I was so excited to head up to Woolgooga to capture the Preeti’s preparation for her ceremony.

Kelli our stylist did such a incredible job of Preeti’s makeup – It was amazing.

Preeti you looked just amazing, and we hope that you had a really wonderful day.

Last week we were invited to be part of the wedding of Preeti. We just loved the experience and it was so enlightening. We did a series of three shoots for Preeti and her family. The first shoot was last Thrusday night, and was the ladies dance party. It was so wonderful to be able to go and watch and learn about other cultures. All of the Indian ladies dress so beautiful… we were so excited to be able to photograph such a colourful event.

The second shoot was the bangle ceremony held on Friday evening. Your bangles Preeti were so stunning….and your henna was so beautiful.

The third shoot we are yet to share!!!

A few weeks ago we caught up with the very gorgeous Susan and Scott. Susan and Scott travelled down from Brisbane just for the shoot. We meet up with them at Bellingen, where we started the shoot in the main street. We than headed out to the promise land for the remainder of the shoot.

What can I say… Susan and Scott you look stunning…. I loved, loved Susan’s dress…. You looked just so cute!! We had a fab time on the shoot and can’t wait for your wedding in October!!
