Alison & Rob’s Wedding | Mike & Amy Photographers | Coffs Harbour
Alison and Rob had a beautiful beachside wedding recently in sunny Sawtell and Coffs Harbour. It was such an intimate day with close family and friends there to share the special time with them.
Alison’s bridal portraits were really nice to capture, there was so much emotion between Alison and her mum, not to mention her fantastic little flower girl who couldn’t quite understand why Alison cried a little!
The ceremony was held near Sawtell’s Surf Club at the beach but last minute had to be moved out of the wind, and wow was it a windy day! Good call I think! Silvana Camilleri did a beautiful job as celebrant, the fact that she could even be there was brilliant. Alison and Rob’s previous celebrant had broken her arm just a day or two before the wedding and was to be travelling up… Thankfully Silvana was willing and able to step in at last minute and do a beautiful job of the ceremony.
After some brief family photos we went to a few locations around Sawtell and Coffs Harbour for photos before heading to the reception!
Here’s a little look at the photos! Thanks guys!

We’ve had quite a few weddings back in our previous home of Coffs Harbour recently so you’ll see a lot on our page! One such wedding was that of Nyssa & Michael. The ceremony, photo shoot and reception were all held at the beautiful Bonville Golf Resort.
The apartment that Nysa got ready in had an amazing view of the Coffs coastline, it was a stunning day too, not a cloud in the sky. Her beautiful mum, flower girl and three lovely bridesmaids were there to help her get ready. Beauty by Rachel Humphreys did a stunning job of the girls makeup and Jasmin from Macy J Hair did her hair. Freelance Flowers made the pretty floral bouquets.
After a few preparation photos we all headed to the rainforest at Bonville Golf Resort for the ceremony. Sam from Married By Sam looked after the officiating of their marriage. Amongst the incredible rainforest trees and in the company of an intimate group of friends and family, Nyssa and Michael became as one, their two little boys there to witness the whole event… whist having quite a bit of fun along the way!
We took the golf carts around for a variety of shots from different parts of the resort and I was so happy with the lighting we were given on the day, especially as the sun started to set. As always it was a pleasure working with the staff from Bonville Golf Resort and an absolute privilege to be able to document Nyssa and Michael’s special day.
Here are a few images!

Taylor & Kyle’s Wedding | Mike & Amy Photographers
Recently I had the pleasure and privilege of capturing the wedding of Taylor and Kyle. I last seen this gorgeous couple earlier in the year. I was very saddened to hear that since our last meeting the beautiful Taylor was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and had began her courageous battle against the disease. Taylor and Kyle have been so brave and strong in their fight and are an inspiration to us all. Such a strong and special couple to face such a shocking challenge at their young age. Ovarian Cancer is something that can affect all women. Taylor’s one request is that we take time to reflect on this disease and donate to https://ocrf.com.au In hope of find a cure to this illness. Capturing their wedding was something truly special and felt very privilege to document their day.
I started my day with Kyle and the boys. Consider how much Kyle doesn’t enjoy having his photo taken I think he certainly embraced the experience. It was soon time to head over the Taylor who was getting ready in their new home with her family and bridesmaids.
Taylor looked amazing! I loved your dress and your headpiece, definitely enhanced the natural beauty already present. We soon made our way to the ceremony which was held on the Brooms Head headland. Taylor and Kyle were surround by friends and family and embraced every minute of their ceremony.
The ceremony was followed by family photos and then photos around Brooms Head before heading back to Maclean for their party.
Thank you for trusting me with your memories. I loved capturing every minute of your day and it’s such a delight to be able to share them on our blog.

Emily & Blake’s Wedding | Mike & Amy | Aanuka Coffs Harbour
A couple of weeks ago I had the awesome privilege of photographing the wedding of Emily and Blake at the Manuka Beach Resort in Coffs Harbour. They chose to have everything at the venue which made the logistics of the day an absolute breeze!
Emily & Blake are such a cruise couple and it made the day all the more enjoyable. Armed with a bowtie and suspenders Blake was rocking his wedding outfit along with his groomsmen. Emily looked stunning in her soft and elegant wedding dress and her bridesmaids looked beautiful in their peachy coloured dresses.
Cindy Pocock did a beautiful job of the ceremony and once officially married Emily, Blake and their bridal party spent the afternoon getting photos done. We had an absolutely perfect day for photos, bright blue skies and a glowing sun piercing through the trees, we had so much to work with!
Of course it was eventually time for the real fun to begin at the reception and Jordan from Oppy entertainment made sure the guests had an amazing time.
A big congratulations to Emily and Blake! Here are a few more images to enjoy! 🙂

Brittany & Luke’s Wedding | Mike & Amy Photographers
Recently I had the pleasure of capturing the gorgeous Brittany and Luke. I can’t believe how fast their wedding has come around. It really doesn’t seem that long ago we meet them for their engagement session.
I started the day with Luke and his boys who were getting ready of Luke’s parents home. The boys were awesome and it’s alway a nice bonus when there is someone on the bridal party that we know. It was great seeing Brock. The boys were all instructed to grow beards for the wedding… Added an extra element to the look the boys were going for. Awesome Job boys!!
Meanwhile the girls were preparing for the ceremony at Anguroie Rainforest Retreat. We arrived at the girls to find our beautiful makeup artist and hairdressers had Brittany all ready for us. It’s alway amazing to arrive and see our bride ready, it means we can get started capturing all little parts that make up the bridal preparation. Kerrie from Dimattia hair did a gorgeous job for Brittany. It was extra special because she had done Brittany’s Mum’s hair at her wedding. Kerrie, you certainly haven’t lost the touch.
To say the least Brittany made the most stunning bride. I loved her dress it suited so perfectly 🙂 Brittany’s amazing grandmother made her dress! So beautiful. After capturing images of our beautiful Brittany we made our way to the ceremony which was to be held on a property of a family friend. It was a gorgeous setting for a ceremony. The boys arrived to the ceremony on a ute while the girls on trackers from Luke’s work.
I loved that Brittany and Luke made their day uniquely their own. The photos were taken on Brittany’s families property… Very special heritage that they incorporated into their day. It rained and at some points it poured but Brittany wasn’t precious about it and certainly embraced the weather which made for some gorgeous images.
Thanks for the most amazing day Brittany and Luke. I loved capturing every minute of your day. Im so excited to be able to share some of your images on our blog.
