Tiga & Brian | Coffs Harbour | Mike & Amy
After a week or two off capturing weddings tomorrow marks the official start to our winter- mid Summer wedding season. During Autumn Tiga & Brian were married in Coffs Harbour. Mike and I were lucky enough to be able to share their special day and capture some truly amazing images of such a an awesome couple.
Brian and Tiga were High School sweet hearts and have grown and experienced life together from such a tender age. Such beautiful and special relationship.
Our day started with Brian and the boys getting ready. Tiga and Brian have so many close friends which therefore results in a large bridal party. Large parties can be rather challenging to manage but in Brian and Tiga’s case it was a real delight.
After the photos with the boys it was soon time to head over to the girls who were getting ready at Opal Cove. The girls were a lot of fun. It was so nice to hear all the chatter and excitement in the room. The girls headed over to the ceremony which was held on a private property in Central Bucca.
Tiga ever since she was little has had a love for animals of all kinds and it certainly wouldn’t have been a true representation of this gorgeous girl if the gorgeous creatures she loves weren’t part of her day.
Tiga rode a horse down most of the aisle, one of their dogs was ring bearer and we certainly can’t forget her favourites from her work place- the seals and dolphins!
Tiga & Brian it was such an amazing day. Thank you for choosing us to capture your day.
Here are just a few of the images we wanted to share.

Sara & Lloyd | Ballina NSW | Mike & Amy
Not too long ago Mike and I were delighted to capture the memories of Sara & Lloyd’s weddings day. Sara and Lloyd’s wedding was held in Ballina NSW. Mike and I really have the best of both worlds, capturing delightful memories in the Mid North Coast of NSW and in the gorgeous city of Melbourne- the art hub of Australia.
Sara and Lloyd were a delight to spend the day with and we certainly couldn’t be happier with the results. Both Mike and I attended the wedding. While I was at the girls Mike was capturing the boys. The time before the ceremony flew and we soon found ourselves awaiting the the gorgeous Sara’s walk down the aisle.
The ceremony, photos and reception were hosted by Dunes on Shelley. A perfect wedding location to celebrate with friends and family. Sara and Lloyd were certainly not disappointed by the weather. We had some amazing Autumn weather and the most gorgeous Autumn light which made documenting this day even more of a delight.
After the ceremony family photos were captured and then we headed down to the beach for photos of our couple and bridal party.
It was amazing to see one of our amazing couples Zoe and Mitch- some of you that have been following our blog for some years may remember Zoe and Mitch from a few years back now. I was delighted to be able to capture their wedding also on the Mid North Coast.
Here are some of the images from Sara & Lloyd’s wedding

Finally Mike and I have had a few weeks to take a breath and catch up on an amazing Spring/Summer wedding season. When we first met Laura and Tony we knew that their wedding was going to be an amazing experience. Laura told us she wanted the wedding to be relaxed and fun- really just a big party. That is certainly was! The wedding and reception were at Poet’s Lane in the Dandenong Ranges. The autumn trees and colours were truly beautiful.
Our day started with Bridal and Grooms portraits. Mike dropped me at Laura’s while he headed over to where Tony was getting ready. The girls were really chilled and having such a beautiful morning. It’s lovely to be able to capture such precious memories of such a exciting time.
We travelled from Laura’s up to Poets lane. The drive is truly beautiful. The Dandenong’s are a special place for Laura and Tony. A lot of recreational time is spent – and what a beautiful part of the world to spend it in.
The ceremony was held just in front of the pagoda. Im sure that Tony and all the guests would agree when Laura walked down the aisle it was breath taking. The colours of the autumn leaves on the ground as Laura made her way down the aisle was beautiful.
The ceremony was followed by family photos and then some photos on the grounds of poet lane before sunset meant it was time to join their guests for the party that lay ahead.
Thanks for an amazing day Laura and Tony. So excited to finally share you images on the blog.

Recently in the Yarra Valley Mel & Leigh made their relationship offical and celebrated with family and friends. Mike and I both attended the wedding of Mel and Leigh and were delighted to capture their memories for them.
The wedding was held at none other then the Stones of the Yarra. A truley beautiful place to celebrate such a special occasion. Leigh prepared for the morning at their home while Mel did most of her preparations at the Stones.
Leigh and Mel did things a little different and opted to have a first look and capture most of their photos before the ceremony. The photos were all taken on the grounds of the vineyard. A very romantic location. I like this concept of the first look, as the couple can get the nerves out of their system and have the photos taken before making it all offical at the ceremony. The celebrations can then flow and guests aren’t kept waiting.
The ceremony was beautiful, lively and truly encapsulated Leigh and Mel as a couple. Meg from Raise Your Glass Ceremonies did a delightful job. would definately recommend the gorgeous Meg to any bride chasing a celebrant.
Drinks and canapes were enjoyed before entering the reception where the real party happened. The food was awesome and atmosphere amazing.
Thanks to the amazing team that made it all possible:
Ceremony Venue & Reception: Stones of the Yarra
Celebrant: Meg Marshall (raise your glass ceremonies)
Cake Supplier: Cherrytree Bakehouse
Florist: Red Earth Florist Kilsyth
Makeup artist: Emily Martin (souldeep makeup)
Hairdresser: Miranda (allure)

Jess and Matt’s Wedding | Melbourne | Mike & Amy
Mike and I have had one of the most rewarding wedding seasons this Spring/Summer just gone and we have couples like Jess & Matt to thank. Jess and Matt were married in April just gone. It was such a gorgeous day and was a real honour for us to be entrusted to capture their memories. It was a day filled with fun, laughter and much love not only between Jess and Matt but their families and friends also.
While I started my day capturing Jess getting ready Mike spent this time with Matt and the boys. Mike captured a few images of the boys at their hotel before visiting the grounds of Victoria Park- the home ground of Matt’s Beloved Team- the Magpies. A real highlight of Matt’s day having photos with his boys at one of his favourite places in Melbourne! The boys then headed to the ceremony.
Jess got ready in the Oslen in South Yarra. Such a gorgeous room that over looked Richmond and had a view of St Ignatius Church were Matt and Jess were to be married. The time with the bride and groom before the ceremony goes so fast and before long we were capturing a truly beautiful ceremony.
After the ceremony a quick group photo was captured before preceding with family photos. The formal photos of the day were taken in Richmond and on the grounds of Treasury garden’s and parliament house.
The sun and Autumn leaves were simply divine to photograph in- truly enhanced the beautiful souls that Matt and Jess are.
Thank you for trusting us with your memories. We loved capturing every minute of your day.
Matt & Jess’s amazing team for the day consisted of the following wonderful people:
Reception Venue: Church 364
Florist: Levian Events
Videographer: Video Boutique
