Regan & Joe | Opal Cove Resort| Mike & AmyÂ
Recently I made the tripe up to Coffs Harbour for the wedding of Regan and Joe. It was a gorgeous day at Opal Cove Resort! I started off my Day with Regan and Susie who were having their Makeup and Hair done at the Beauty Salon at Opal Cove Resort. Amy from Eminay Hair did a delightful job at the girls hair while Marion from Dreamtime Day spa did a wonderful job of the makeup.
After a few photos in the Salon with the girls I made my way over to Joe and Andy for a few photos of them preparing for the ceremony before meeting Regan and the girls in her room for the final preparation photos of the day.
The ceremony was on the lawn at Opal Cove Resort. The ceremony was followed by family photos. It was such a warm day so thanks you to everyone for your help in getting a great result for family photos.
As it was so hot and bright we opted just to have photos under the gorgeous trees at the enterence of the resort! Such a beautiful place for photos 🙂
Thanks for an enjoyable day Regan and Joe and congratulations on your wedding.
Here are a few images from the day.

Courtney & Nathan’s Engagement Session
A few weeks back on a recent trip up to Coffs Harbour I had the pleasure of meeting a very adorable couple- Courtney and Nathan. Courtney & Nathan will get married at the end of the year and Mike will have the pleasure of capturing their wedding memories.
Their session was taken at the very beautiful Coffs Harbour Jetty. It’s certainly one of my favorite places in Coffs Harbour to take photos. It’s a place that I spent alot of time at as a child.
Here is a preveiw of their photos. Thanks for an awesome session Courtney & Nathan 🙂

Tye & Helen | Melbourne Wedding | Mike & Amy
Recently the very gorgeous Tye and Helen exchanged vows at St Peter’s Eastern Hill. It was an amazing summers day and was a real pleasure to attend their wedding.
Both Helen and Tye prepared for their mid day ceremony at Park Hyatt, just a short walk from St Peters on the Hill. I started with Tye and his boys who a lot of fun to work with. Â It wasn’t long before I was due to arrive a Helens.
Helen and Tye went against tradition and didn’t have bridesmaids as part of their day just groomsman but Helen was able to spend some quality time with her beautiful Mum who had travelled over from the UK with her Dad. It was really beautiful to be able to capture images of this special time. A little later in the morning we were join a friend of Helen and her brother who was accompanied by a very handsome little page boy!!
It was soon time to head over to the ceremony. We walked from Park Hyatt to St Peter’s on the Hill. It was a special walk for Helen and her Dad as they chatted with both nerves and excitement as we made our way over for the ceremony.
The ceremony was performed by a the local priest and was a little bit more special as the incense burnt during the ceremony was brought all the way over from the UK from the church of Helen’s family.
The ceremony was followed by family photos and a few casual friends photos before heading into the hall on the church’s grounds for a lunch time reception. Photos were were captured at the end of the day in Treasury gardens.
Here is a  little preview of the photos. Thanks for an awesome day.

Taylor & Kyle | Engagement Session | Coffs Harbour | Mike & Amy
I first meet Taylor when she was part of her sisters bridal party at Pacific Bay resort. I was delighted to receive an email asking to photograph her wedding also. Its truly an honour to be able to capture two weddings from the same family. To know that Images that we have created are going to become part of a families heritage and be passed on to children and grandchildren is something very special. Mike and I loved to stop and reflect on the amazing job we have and think about the responsibility we have to capture images that are meaningful and special for each couple that entrust us with their photos.
Taylor and Kyle it was a lot of fun catching up with you for your engagement session and I can’t wait to see you at the wedding 🙂  Im looking forward to also seeing your gorgeous sister Sam and her family 🙂

Marta & Victor | Melbourne Wedding | Mike & AmyÂ
Back in December Mike and I attended the wedding of Marta and Victor. While mike spent the morning with Victor I spent mine with Marta. We had such a enjoyable time before the wedding – the time just flew by. Marta and Victor broke tradition and rather then seeing each other for the the first time at the ceremony they arranged a “first look” – a perfect way to ensure there is enough time for photos without making guests wait too long after the ceremony. Mike and I love the concept of a ‘first look’ particularly when time is a factor. From a photographer propspective sometimes the expressions of seeing each other for the first time are even more expressive then at the ceremony because the nerves of vows don’t take over. A first look prior to a ceremony is also a great idea when venues don’t allow enough time between the end of the ceremony and entering the reception.
After the first look we captured a images in a number of locations close to Melbourne CBD before heading to the Grand Hyatt on Collins Street for the ceremony. After the ceremony we documented a few family photos before heading out onto Collins street for a few last photos.
It was an awesome day – Thank you Marta and Victor for trusting us with your wedding. Here are a few images from their day.
