Recently Mike and I met with Jessica and Nathan at Queens Park in Moonee Ponds for their engagement session. The afternoon was looking like it would storm. Thankfully the weather held out and we were able to met Jess and Nathan for their session. Queens Park is such a perfect place for photos.

Jessica and Nathan were rather cute and Mike and I had a really enjoyable session with this couple. We hope that all the wedding planning is going well.

A couple of weeks ago I had the amazing privilege to shoot the wedding of Kate and Trumaine at the Aanuka Beach resort in Coffs Harbour. I’d previously done their engagement session and as they photographed so amazingly together I was really looking forward to the wedding!

It was very special to see their two beautiful children having a part on the day as well. Kate and Trumaine have a little girl and boy and as the pictures will show they were pretty cute! 

The ceremony was held in the little Chapel at Aanuka, and the lunch time reception at the scenic ‘breakers room’ (a reference to waves and not breaking things I assume!) at the resort. We did photos around the grounds and out on the beach, it was a beautiful sunny day, the colours were so rich and vibrant for the photos and Kate looked amazing in her dress, Trumaine looked pretty good too! The photo shoot went so fast, and we had to go back for the reception. 

There was some great music and dancing courtesy of Oppy Entertainment and delicious reception meals were a real winner too.

Mike

Recently Mike and I caught up with Margie and Shaun for their engagement session! We first met Margie at a bridal expo recently and are excited to share their wedding day in St Kilda in just a few weeks time.

The more Mike and I photograph in Melbourne and met more of Melbourne’s gorgeous brides and grooms the more we fall in love with this city! We met Margie and Shaun in a garden around the CBD for their session and as the light disappeared we made our way out of the gardens and to the surrounding park land.

It was a really awesome session and we are now even more excited to share their wedding day with them in just a few weeks time.

A few weeks back I travelled back up home to Coffs Harbour to capture the memories of Jess & Andrew’s wedding. Their wedding was really special and I felt a little overwhelmed and honoured at the beauty & meaning of what I was entrusted to capture.

I started with the boys who were getting ready in Andrew’s families home out a Nanna Glen. The property of the family was also the location of the ceremony. The boys were so crusiy and alot of fun to capture a few memories of this time before the ceremony.

The girls were getting ready at Opal Cove over looking the ocean. Upon arriving at the girls I was so excited to see Jess and her girls! I loved your dress Jess and the bridesmaids dressers were gorgeous too! The colour is timeless.

Both Jess and Andrew made an enterance to the ceremony. The tractor the boys arrived on was restored by Andrew’s Dad! Awesome Job! Jess arrived at the ceremony in Andrew’s grandmothers vintage car. It was also amazing!

The back of the property by the river were Andrew grow up was prepared for the ceremony- It looked amazing! I felt so honored to be entrusted to capture and document all the hard work that had gone into making Andrew and Jess day the day it was.

After the ceremony we worked through some family photos before completing all the photos on the property. The bridal party along with Jess and Andrew then headed back to Opal Cove where all the celebrations happened.

Thank you for such an amazing day. I enjoyed every minute of your wedding.

Recently Mike and I caught up with Natalia & Daniel for their engagement session or pre wedding portrait session.   Mike and I love natural light and when we are treated with such beautiful light as were were with Natalia & Daniels’ session, we get rather excited!

Natalia and Daniel were so much fun to photograph- we enjoyed every minute of the session! We hope that all the wedding planning is going well! We are both excited to share the images from this session.
