Victoria & Shaun’s Docklands Wedding| Melbourne| Mike & Amy
A few weeks back I attended the wedding of Victoria and Shaun. It was a really relaxed and enjoyable day with this awesome couple. They decided to do things a little different from the traditional norm and have a small low key ceremony with just their immediate family followed by a cocktail party with their friends and family held at “All Smiles” at the docklands in Melbourne.
The ceremony was held at a private home and was preformed by a celebrant. After the ceremony we captured all the family photos before heading down to the docklands for a few photos and then the reception.
It was a really fun reception. Everyone was so relaxed eating drinking and laughing. It was nice to be able to capture such awesome memories for Victoria and Shaun.
Here are just a few images from the day.

A few weeks back on a Sunday morning I headed over to St Kilda on my Vespa for the engagement session of Lauren and Sam. We met Lauren and Sam at a bridal expo recently and they contacted us for their engagement session.
The session was really fun and was nice to capture some images on the beach as it was at a beach (not St Kilda Beach) that Sam proposed to Lauren.
Thanks for a really enjoyable morning.
Here are just a few images from the session.

A few weeks ago I caught up with Wynne & Salv for their engagement session. It was a really fun session and went so fast. The light was so amazing in Carlton Gardens in Melbourne’s CBD. Mike & I adore the winter sun light and we love Carlton Garden’s. It’s really special to be able to capture images of couples with such amazing sunlight in such beautiful places.
It was so sweet hearing about your engagement guys and spend some time capturing a few images to remember this special time. Here are just a few images from their session.
Thanks for a great session! We will upload some more onto facebook shortly.

Wilson & Yuan’s Engagement Session
A fortnight ago I caught up with Wilson & Yuan for their engagement session. I met them at Melbourne’s Botanical Gardens. Wilson & Yuan are very much in love and for me that is a real pleasure to capture. I loved every minute of their session, it was fun, full or emotion and beautiful! The gardens are stunning this time of year in particular as the trees have lost their leaves and have beautiful winter colors. The light was perfect.
Thank you for the coffee after the session! Awesome to have had the opportunity to photograph you both and get to know you a little.
Here are just a few images from a perfect session with Wilson and Yuan. I will share some more on facebook shortly!

Emma & Tony’s Wedding| Yamba NSW| Mike & Amy
Just a couple of weeks back Mike and I headed up to Yamba NSW for the gorgeous wedding of Emma & Tony. It was such an enjoyable day and have been excited to shar it on the blog!
I started the day with Emma and the girls who prepared for the day at a holiday home in Yamba. Emma and the girls were so organised that they were playing a board game when I arrived! So chilled and relaxed! Upon arrive I captured a few images of the girls details before the girls got in to the dresses.
While I was with the girls Mike was capturing what was happening with the boys. The boys too were organised which made Mike’s job super easy!
The ceremony was held at St. James’ Catholic. Church Yamba. It was followed by family photos and the photoshot. We were so excited on the creative session to be presented with the most amazing rainbow!!
The reception was held at Yamba Shores Tavern. It was a really great weddign and loved capturing every moment of the special day.
Emma and Tony were such an awesome share the day with. There story is really cute. Emma and Tony grew up in the same town and knew of each other. Emma was working at with Tony’s mum and one night at the pub Emma she went up to Tony and told and it bossomed from there.
One of the aspects I love about my job is hearing about the proposal. This is the proposal from Emma’s prespective:
“it was my birthday and we were in London visiting Chris (Tony‘s brother). Tony said we should go for a walk and see Hyde park after breakfast but Chris wouldn’t come with us (I was a bit put off because it was my birthday and Chris didn’t want to come 🙂 We walked for about 45 minutes in light rain to a spot on the lake. Tony said I should take some photos because it was so nice- I got the camera out and took a few photos and went to turn around to see where Tony went and he was down on one knee- he said happy birthday first then asked me to marry him”.
Hyde park is so beautiful! We absoultely loved it when we visited last year!! Such a beautiful spot for a proposal. Thanks for sharing your special day with us. Here are just a few images from the day.
