Erin & Josh’s Wedding| Coffs Harbour| Mike & Amy

July 24, 2015

Just a couple of weeks ago I was in Coffs Harbour for the wedding of Erin and Josh. It was a gorgeous day and I had been excited to share their day with them since the engagement session. The Engagement session was  a lot of fun so knew the wedding would be the same. Josh & Erin met at a mutal friends party and only a few months later got engaged. I think Josh’s presistence in asking Erin out certainly paid off. Such a cute love at first site story! Erin and Josh did most of the wedding planning together. The planning certainly paid off as it truely was a perfect day. They surrounded themselves by a great team of suppliers and were able to head the advice given by many of their friends “All the small things will work themeselves out- it’s about them getting married” A great piece of advice for other brides and grooms that are planning their wedding 🙂 I arrived at the boys who were getting ready at Sapphire Beach in a holiday house. I arrived a couple of hours before the ceremony to find the boys very organised!!- That makes our job as photographers very easy. I fell in love with the button holes. The florist did an amazign job 🙂 The time with Josh and the boys went very fast and it was soon time to head over to the girls who were preparing for the ceremony at Aanuka Beach Resort.

Erin’s room was bussling with activity and there was alot of excitement! I first captured the dress, flowers, shows and all the details. The dress, flowers and shoes were gorgeous!! There was so much to capture. It was soon time for Erin to put her dress and on and make all the final touches to her appearance. I know I say this all the time- but this has to be my favorite part of the day to photograph!!

Josh had arrange for Erin and her girls to arrive at the ceremony in Vintage cars!! The cars picked Erin her Dad, Paul and the girls up from Aanuka Beach resort. Was awesome to capture a funny moment when Paul completley missed the chair upon getting into the car! Very funny!

The ceremony was held at St Augustines Catholic Church in Coffs Harbour. The ceremony was followed buy family photos on the grounds of the church. We then headed to the Coffs Harbour Jetty for some photos. The final part of the photos were taken at Aanuka Beach Resort just before heading into the Reception.

The reception was held in the Breakers Room. A great room with a balcony overlook the grass with views of the ocean. Josh’s Mum Melissa made the most amazing dessert bar.

Such an awesome day and evening. Congratulations Josh and Erin. Thank you for letting me be part of your special day.

Charmaine & Darren’s Wedding| Aanuka Beach Resort| Coffs Harbour| Mike & Amy

July 21, 2015

A little while ago Mike and I attended the gorgeous wedding of Charmanine and Darren. Im so sorry it’s taken a while to post your wedding.

I started the day with Charmaine while Mike started his day with Darren and the boys. It was such a relaxed and beautiful day. When I arrived at the Villa the girls were getting ready in. Charmaine and the girls were getting final touches done to their hair and makeup. The time before the wedding goes so fast. Once the shoes, dress, flowers and any other bits and pieces are captured it is time for the gorgeous bride to put their dress on.

Charmaine looks so beautiful! I was excited to capture these moments for her as it really is a special time getting ready before the ceremony.

The ceremony was held at Aanuka Beach resort in the chapel. The ceremony was short, sweet and reflected Charmaine and Darren’s personalities very well. After the ceremony we captured family photos outside the chapel and then headed around the resort for the formal photos of our couple and the bridal party.

The light was perfect on Diggers Beach to capture som really gorgeous images of Charmaine and Darren. The light made everything look so soft and pretty! I loved the choice of colours in the flowers. They were really beautiful.

The reception was held in the Breakers Room at Aanuka Beach resort. What I love about the breakers room is the balcony. Guests can get out in the fresh air to socialise and drink.

Thanks for an awesome day Charmaine and Darren. Thank you for sharing your special day with us and trusting us to document your memories.

Kirsty & Ben’s Engagement Session | Coffs Harbour | Mike & Amy

July 12, 2015

Last weekend while I was in Coffs Harbour photographing the wedding of a gorgeous couple I caught up with Kirsty & Ben for a chat about their wedding that will shortly be here in October and to capture a few images of them together.

People often ask us what an engagement session is- the simple answer is that it is a portrait session before the wedding to get you use to working with your wedding photographer.

Kirsty and Ben were alot of fun to photograph and I can’t wait to be part of their special day.

Here are just a few images from the session.
