We often take up the opportunity to travel out to Tamworth in NSW, even now that we live in Melbourne it is sure a different pace out this way. The people are great too, as was the case for our couple Lisa and Dave.

Lisa wore her favourite shoes to the wedding, along with her bridesmaids they had pink and white converses. I was wearing converses to so oI felt right at home even though mine looked… well, worn.

Lisa’s bridal cars looked very cool and after the prep photos we all headed to the Pavilion function centre for the ceremony. The weather was good to us (despite a little bit of rain) and the ceremony went off without any dramas.

The photos were all done at the Pavilion as there is just so much to work with there. After which we had the reception their as well. The reception was beautiful and the speeches a lot of fun, the kids of Lisa and Dave obviously love them very much by the very touching speeches that were given (they made up most of the rather large bridal party).

A little while ago now we had the privledge of attending the wedding of Jane and Ben. It was such a hot day January day. Jane, Ben and your bridal party you did amazing given how hot it was. I can’t believe the temperature in the car said it was 41 degrees. And the wind my goodness that didn’t make it any better!! Both Mike & I attended the wedding. While I spent a couple hours with the girls prior to the wedding Mike spend his time with the boys down at Docklands.

Splinting up before the wedding always makes for a great combination of images I love putting the images together and seeing what happened in sequence.

Jane looked gorgeous as did her bridesmaids. The flowers looked awesome. Jane, Ben and the girls had spent hours making the bouquets – you guys did an amazing job they looked great!!

We headed into the ceremony and of course we were slightly early I love our brides to be early or right on time!! We waiting in one of the back rooms of Melbourne’s gorgeous town Hall on Swanston Street while all the guests arrived and were settled. I loved the setting of the ceremony! So gorgeous!

The ceremony was followed by family photos on the veranda. A big thank you to the family who were so co-operative during the family photos session 🙂

Jane and Ben’s photos were all taken at and around Town Hall before it was time to head down to Docklands to finish off our photo session!!

A little while ago now, Mike and I had the pleasure of attending the wedding of Scott and Maddie in Urunga. The weather was a little odd for Maddie and Scott’s wedding it was a pleasant temperature but was on and off ran for late afternoon. We were fortunate that for our photo session and ceremony the weather held off.

Mike started the day with the boys and capture the usual images of the boys preparing for the ceremony. The boys as well as the girls prepared for the wedding at the Urunga Holiday Centre.

After Mike completed the boys images he met me at the girls where we captured the images of Maddie and her girls before heading to the ceremony. The girls make up and hair looked gorgeous A big Thank you to Bree from “Mobile Makeup by Bree” and Emily Stevens for doing the hair. The flowers were beautiful and the girls dressed looked beautiful.

It was soon time to make our way over to the ceremony. The ceremony was held at Hungry Head Headland overlooking the ocean and the beach below. The ceremony was simple and elegant. Maddie and Scott’s little boy certainly played a starring role in the ceremony. How cute he was!!

After the family photos we made our way over to the other side of the headland were we captured some family photos before heading to our photo session.

It was such an awesome day. Thanks so much for sharing the day with us both.

Melissa & Johnny- What a beautiful day it was, maybe not weather wise but beauitful because a special couple exchanged vows and started a new chapter in their life.

The wedding was held at Friday Creek Retreat just a little inland from Coffs Harbour. It is turly beautiful! The weather was on and off raining, but didn’t prevent the day from being enjoyable.

We started the day with groom and bridal preparation. The suits at Friday Creek Retreat are gorgeous and cossy and made for a great background to capture some beautiful images. I loved Melissa’s dress! It was elegant, simple yet absolutley beautiful! The flowers complemented the dress so well!!

The ceremony was to be held on the lawn overlooking the lagoon at the Retreat, however just before Melissa was due to walk downt he asile it poured down rain!! The ceremony was moved into the marquee where the reception was set up. The ceremony was beautiful dispite the rain. The timber arch that Melissa and Johnny were married under was made by Johnny!! It will make a beautiful feature in your garden when you both settle and have a family!!!

We then captured family photos outside between the rain before moving onto photos of the bridal party. All the photos were taken at the Friday Creek Retreat!! There was so much at the venue to photograph!

Words of advice before they walk down the aisle!

A little while ago now Mike and I caught up with the very adorable Charmaine and Darren at Charlesworth Bay in Coffs Harbour for their engagement session. Charlesworth Bay is so beautiful- Im never disappointed photographing there particularly when we have a couple with so much vibe about them. Their wedding will be in the next fortnight- I can’t believe how fast it is coming around. You both must be super excited. Mike and I can’t wait to share in your special day and capture all your memories
