Vanessa & Chris’ Engagement
Vanessa and Chris were married a few weeks ago now, but before I post their wedding photos up I wanted to put a few up of their engagement photos and beautiful family. We headed down tho the Jetty in Coffs Harbour just a couple of days before the wedding. We had arranged for them to bring their two little kids along for some photos. It was nice and relaxed and gave a perfect opportunity for Vanessa and Chris to have a practice run before the wedding.
Here are just a few photos, the wedding entry will come soon!

Leanne and Wok’s Wedding
A few weeks ago I photographed the wedding of Leanne and Wok at the beautiful Opal Cove Resort in Coffs Harbour. Leanne and Wok are an awesome couple and the day was a lot of fun. With a nickname like Wok I have to admit he was not quite like I had pictured! This is what everyone calls him though so I shall do the same.
After the grooms portraits I headed to the brides house for her photos with her two lovely daughters. Everything was organised, peaceful and relaxed. Leanne had everything under control and after they were ready and some shots had been taken I headed to the ceremony.
Wok looked a little nervous as he waited in front of all their guests, but I think that he looked more excited than anything else! Some of his expressions as Leanne walked down the aisle were classic. Sam from ‘Married by Sam’ was the celebrant for this beautiful wedding, and the ceremony was very relaxed and enjoyable, fitting in such a great location overlooking the nearby beach. So much emotion was apparent both during the ceremony and immediately after which was a pleasure for me to photograph.
We did some photos around the grounds of the resort, headed onto the beach, the lagoon and then the roadway lined by great big trees. There are so many places to photograph and all of them so close. The reception was held not long after that and went down really well.
Just a few pics for now!

Haylee and Will’s Wedding
Recently one of my dear friends Haylee married her best friend in her home town of Grafton. I was so excited when I heard that Haylee was going to marry Will! When I was a teenager, which certainly feels like forever ago now, I used to hang out with Haylee and her sisters up in Grafton. I loved our Chicken and Chips afternoons and all our trips to the beach!! Miss them so much. How life changes!!
Both Mike and I attended Haylee and Will’s wedding as guests and their official photographers. It really was a delight to share such a beautiful day with a really cute couple.
Of course I started the day with Haylee and her bridesmaids at the family home in Grafton. I was excited to see Haylee’s dress as her beautiful Mum had spent many hours making her dress along with all the other girls dresses. He was also Haylee’s Mum Kathy that made my wedding dress, almost 8 years ago now… Such a talented lady. It was such a relaxed atmosphere and was really special to be able to capture some beautiful memories for a couple we love so much.
While I was with Haylee, Mike headed over to Will and the boys who were preparing for the ceremony at Haylee’s Uncle and Aunties place.
The ceremony was held at the Kingdom Hall in Grafton. A family friend spent much time preparing the ceremomy for Haylee and Will. It certainly was a delightful ceremony to witness. It was followed by family photos and then off to the photo shoot.
Grafton is such a beautiful place for photos… there is so much choice. We started a Alma park and then headed to See park for photos and the river. The weather wasn’t looking too promising for us but it held off long enough for us to capture some beautiful images for this really cute couple.
Here are just a few images from their wedding. We will share some more on facebook shortly!!

Bronnie and Nathan’s Armidale Wedding
Not too long ago now I made my way up to Armidale for the wedding of Bronnie and Nathan. I knew that it was going to be a good day as I knew some of Bronnie and Nathan’s guests from the very adorable Nicola and Mark’s wedding last year. Mark was actually on the bridal party for Bronnie and Nathan, It was so nice to see you both and im excited for your arrival of your baby not too far away now.
The boys were at the Powerhouse in Armidale preparing for the ceremony. The boys looked great in their suits. It was worth the trip up to Brisbane for the suits 🙂
The girls were all preparing for the ceremony at Nathan and Bronnie’s house which isn’t too far from the powerhouse. The girls had all their hair and makeup done when I arrived… It looked amazing. i was excited to see Bronnie’s dress and the bridemaids too. Girls you all looked gorgeous.
As with any wedding day the morning flys by and it was soon time to head to the ceremony. Bronnie’s father drove her to the ceremony which was rather special I thought. If I could go back in time I would ask my father to drive me to my ceremony. It’s a memory that I think Bronnie will cherish forever.
The ceremony was very romantic. It was held under the trees at Booloominbah Lawns on the UNE grounds. It was a beautiful cremony taken by a friend of the family. I loved the soft defused light that Bronnie and Nathan had during their ceremony it really added to how amazing their ceremony location was.
The ceremony was followed by family and friends photos on the lawns before we head to the photoshoot.
It was an awesome day and I enjoyed sharing every minute of it with you both.
Here are just a few images from your special day. Your images will be in the post shortly.
