Tony & Karen’s Engagement Session- Sawtell Beach
Karen and Tony were an awesome couple I met up with a good few weeks back now. We have since photographed their intimate wedding at the Bonville Golf Resort in Coffs Harbour and I’ll blog that soon! But for now here is a few photos of their engagement session.
We met up in Sawtell at the entrance of Bonville creek, the lighting was just beautiful at that time of day, the sun was starting to soften and their was a nice mist over the water. Hope you enjoy these few pics!

Danielle & Darren’s Pacific Bay Resort Wedding
A little while back Danielle and Darren spent their special day with family and friends a Pacific Bay Resort in Coffs Harbour. Despite the rainy weather changing our ceremony location from the betting Tee to an area inside the resort it was a fabulous day.
I started the day with Darren and his boys who were getting ready in one of the rooms at the resort. Their little boy Noah was getting ready with Darren. He was such a little cutie and looked so handsome in his suit! It was great to capture such special memories for a great bunch of guys.
It was soon time to head over to where Danielle and her girls were getting ready. They were getting ready at Pacific Bay also in one of the apartments. The girls were so organised and were just finalising the last of the makeups when I arrived. The girls makeup was beautiful and their hair too. I loved the pastel pink of the bridesmaids dresses. Such a sweet and fresh colour. Ava Darren and Danielle’s little girl got ready with Danielle and when everyone was almost ready Noah joined as for a few photos before his starring role of walking his stunning mum down the aisle.
Something that I really love about my job as a wedding photographer is capturing moments and memories for not only couples but also their families. One of my favorite moments from Danielle and Darren’s wedding is that of Noah walking Danielle down the aisle. I loved his expression on this face and the beautiful smile on Danielle. Such a special moment that im sure they will all cherish forever.
After the ceremony we captured a few family photos before heading off location for photos. We firstly went to The Jetty in Coffs Harbour which was special for our couple. It was the very spot that Darren proposed the Danielle. So despite the triathlon being on that weekend we ensured that we captured some images there on their wedding day.
We then travelled to a little to a spot a little out-of-town so that we could have some country photos in our collection. The lighting was gorgeous and our couple amazing so made for a great photo shoot.
It was soon time to head back to the reception to celebrate such an amazing day. The photobooth was a real treat a the reception and our DJ Marcus really made for a great party.
Thanks so much for such an enjoyable and awesome day guys!

Emily & Matt’s Wedding
It was a wet saturday afternoon that i had the opportunity to photograph the lovely wedding of Emily and Matt. Thye chose to have their ceremony in the beautiful Glennifer area. After doing the portraits of Emily and the girls and Matt and the guys I headed to out ceremony location. Originally the wedding was to be held in a beautiful little spot on the lawns just outside the Glennifer Church… everything was set up to go but then, the rains came.
After a quick reshuffle of everything into the church it was time to start the ceremony! Thankfully, once it was finished the rain stopped and we were able to do the traditional family photos and then the photo shoot of Emily and Matt along with their bridal party in the dry.
We chose a couple of locations in the Glennifer area, before once again it started to pour down with rain! Thanfully we had more than enough photos done, and after braving a few in the elements we headed back to the hall to kick off the reception.
The reception was a lot of fun, speeches were great, decorations beautiful and foos fantastic. A nice group of guests topped it off as well! After a slideshow of some of the days photos and then the rest of formalities it was time for me to finish up.
Heres a few pics from the wedding, thanks guys!

Rae & Chad’s Villa Vivante Wedding
It’s a funny time to sit and reflect on a wedding…. 11pm on a Sunday night… after an accidental 3 hour sleep this afternoon I have too much energy for a Sunday evening and instead of our early night ive decided its a good to time share Rae and Chad’s wedding with you all.
Rae and Chad flew across from their home in Perth in February to met with some family and close friends to celebrate their wedding Rae and Chad’s wedding was really special and we feel so privileged to have been asked to capture their special day for them. Rae is an amazing girl and so full of life. Her story touches my heart! Thank you for sharing a part of you life with us.
Mike and I both attended Rae and Chad’s wedding. While I was photographing Rae and the main bedroom of the Villa, Mike was at the other end capturing a few images of Chad and his best man before they headed off to the airport to catch their chopper to the wedding.
Rae was alot of fun to photograph. I feel in love with her shoes! They were super cute! The colour beautiful!! The few hours we spend with the bride and groom prior to the ceremony always goes so fast. Before we know it, it’s time for the ceremony. Guests were gathered on the top balcony for drinks and to what Chad arrive in the chopper so once he had landed guests headed down to the veranda over looking some of the northern Coffs harbour suburbs for the ceremony.
The ceremony was really sweet and included a sand ceremony reflecting on the join together of two lives! Such a sweet idea. following the sand ceremony we headed down to Charlesworth Bay with all 19 or so guests and the bridal party for family/friend photos as well as the official photo shoot. We started with the family/friends photos first before having drinks and Canapes on the beach. After the delightful canapes had been enjoyed we started the official photos. It was awesome that the rain held off just long enough for us to finish our photo session and capture some really sweet images of Rae, Chad, and bridal party.
After our photos the guest as well as our couple headed back up to the Villa to enjoy Canapes and their seated dinner. Following dinner we had speeches the slide show of 100 or so photos of the day and then Rae and Chad opened their Carnival themed desert bar as dessert… I loved the opening of the dessert bar idea instead of cutting the traditional wedding cake.
Rae and Chad it was such a beautiful wedding. Both Mike and I had a fabulous day and enjoyed every minute of your wedding. Thank you for letting us share your special day.
Here are just a few images I would like to share with everyone… Hope you are enjoying looking through your wedding photos.

Brei & Shaun’s Coffs Harbour Wedding
In February the very adorable Brei and Shaun were married by Cindy Peacok at a stunning harbour side ceremony. The day was so beautiful… A little hot and windy but if that’s all you can complain about it’s not bad at all.
I started the day with Shaun and his three groomsman. They were such a nice bunch of boys and were really fun to photograph. It was rather funny for me to photograph Shaun as he is so tall… The only thing I didn’t do was get a photo with Brei and Shaun to compare my height LOL!
After photographing the boys in their Jetty holiday apartment I headed over to the girls who were preparing for the day in their Jetty Apartment. The girls were so organised and also a lot of fun to photograph. I loved the quirkyness of Brei’s dress. It was two dress combined to make one… So cute and fun! The flowers were amazing, the colour so vibrant. It didn’t take long before it was time to head to the ceremony. The ceremony was held on the parkland on the south side of the harbour over looking Mutton Bird Island and the Jetty/Marina. It was so stunning and refreshing to be in such a beautiful location for a ceremony. Cindy did a beautiful job of the ceremony as per usual.
After the ceremony we did some family photos which were challenging for all involved because of the glare and the wind, nonetheless we got through them and moved on to our photo shoot! The photos were taken at the ceremony location before taking the 4WD’s onto the beach for some photos. It was a fun session with Brei, Shaun and their bridal shower.
The reception was held at the Deep Sea fishing club. It has such an amazing view… awesome for their guest who had travelled for their special day.
Thanks so much Brei and Shaun for sharing your special day with us. I hope you guys are doing well. Here are just a few images I would like to share with everyone from your amazing day.
