Danielle & Darren’s Engagement Session

March 27, 2014

A few weeks prior to their wedding Danielle and Darren took advantage of some time off work to travel down from Glen Innes for their engagement session. I always enjoy meeting a couple in person after having months of communication via the phone and internet.

It was such a gorgeous summer’s afternoon for the session. The light was amazing. I was so pleased as Danielle and Darren had put such an effort in to travel down the deserved such gorgeous light! The session was held at Charlesworth Bay. It was a great place to met as it was close to Pacific Bay where the wedding was going to be held.

It was exciting to hear about all the wedding plans at their engagement session and to hear about the special part their two little ones, Noah and Ava were going to play in their wedding. Danielle and Darren’s wedding was held in early March. I’m looking forward to sharing their photos on the blog shortly.

For now here are just a few images from their engagement session that I wanted to share with you all.

Samantha & Blake’s Engagement Session

March 26, 2014

Just after Christmas last year I met up with Samantha and Blake for their engagement session. It felt like only yesterday that I met Samantha and their little boy for their initial wedding consultation. It’s unbelievable how fast time flys. Samantha and Blake were married a little over three weeks ago now… I can’t wait to share their photos on the blog as they are super cute and were so much fun to spend the day with.

The engagement session was held a little out of town so we could capture a bit more of a country feel. It was a great session. The light was beautiful and our subject material perfect… couldn’t ask for anything more so create an amazing session!

I loved what Blake and Samantha did with their engagement session for their wedding… A little surprise that I will share on their wedding blog entry.

I had so much fun at the engagement session guys! Here are a few photos for everyone to see…. The wedding entry isn’t too far away 🙂

Jenna & Mitch’s Armidale Wedding

March 18, 2014

Back in January Mike and I headed up to Armidale with my older brother Jack to photograph the wedding of Jenna and Mitch. My brother Jack is planning to be a wedding photographer in the near future. I’m excited for him as his first wedding is this weekend coming. He was a great third shooter on the day! I loved having him their.

We first met Jenna and Mitch at Tahnee and Jamie’s wedding in November last year. Jenna is Tahnee’s cousin… Hence the gorgeous red hair! Both Jenna and Tahnee have amazing hair! I love it!!

We started our day with Jenna, Mike dropped Jack and I off at where Jenna was preparing for the ceremony. It wasn’t there home but Im sure pleased they used this house to get ready it. It was an awesome home for bridal preparation.- The light was so gorgeous and made for some stunning images. It was nice to be able to teach Jack a few things under such ideal circumstances for bridal preparation.

While Jack and I were with Jenna, Mike spent a couple of hours with the boys prior to the ceremony capturing what they were up to. Before long it was time for Jenna, her girls and us to head out to the ceremony which was held on Jenna’s families property! Jenna had told me all about the work her parents had put into the property preparing it for the wedding so I was very excited to see what they had done. I certainly wasn’t disappointed. The property was amazing! Such a credit to Jenna and her family! When we arrived at the property Jenna and her girls transferred themselves from the cars onto horse and carts. They arrived at the ceremony on the back of a cart! It was very fitting as Jenna has a real love for horses!

Jenna and Mitch were married in front of the small dam on the property. Jenna’s parents done an amazing job of the garden’s and decorations around the dam. It was such a hot day but the setting for the ceremony was so romantic and gorgeous it certainly overshadowed the heat! The ceremony wasn’t too long but was very sweet! Following the ceremony we headed over to the shed where we captured a few family photos before heading off on our photo shot! We travelled a little down the road from the property for some photos but returned and later during the reception when the sun went down we captured a few images with Jenna’s horse.

The reception was held in the Marquee which had been set up and decorated by Jenna’s family! It was gorgeous guys. Thank you for such an amazing day. I hope that you are both well and your wedding images arrived!!

Here are just a few photos from the day… Some of our favorites! I will post some more on facebook shortly!!

Rachel & Stephen’s Engagement Session

March 18, 2014

Last Friday Rachel and Stephen exchanged vows at the beautiful Bonville Golf Resort. I caught up with Rachel and Stephen way back in January for their engagement session. It was an early morning session just a little out-of-town as we wanted to capture a little bit of a country feel to the session. It had been raining the days previous to the session but thankfully the morning of the session the rain held off at least until we had finished capturing a few images.

Rachel and Stephen were a lot of fun to photograph. I was super excited to photograph them last week as I did have a lot of fun on their engagement session. I look forward to sharing their wedding day with you all soon.

For now here are a few images from the engagement session.

Laura & Justin’s Engagment Session

March 17, 2014

Back in January when we were up in Armidale for a wedding we caught up with Laura and Justin for their engagement session. Mike photographed their engagement session however I will be attending the wedding which im super excited about… It’s only a few weeks now!

Laura and Justin are such a sweet couple. They are very cute and certainly photograph well together. Their session was held at the old teachers college in Armidale. It’s such an awesome spot their for photos. Even though the light was harsh most places that day the teachers college offered some beautiful light to capture this sweet couple.

It was lovely to met you both at the session. Im looking forward to the wedding in just a few weeks time.
