Michelle & William’s Wedding

October 17, 2013

My goodness, Time certainly flies this time of year!! I can’t believe it’s nearly been a month since Michelle and William travelled up from Sydney to celebrate their special day with friends and family. That time has gone so fast.

Michelle and William had an awesome day. The weather was so perfect. The sun was shining, a little windy which kept it nice and cool. We couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Michelle and Will had their wedding at the very beautiful Bonville Golf Resort. It is such an amazing place to get married. Just stunning!!! I started the day with  Will and his boys. They were getting ready at the Golf Resort. The boys were very lively and full on banter. The time with them went very fast and it was not long until I made my way of to Michelle and her girls who were getting ready at the resort also – Just a few doors up 🙂

When I arrived Michelle had an excited glow about her. Jodie from Belissimo brides was making the final touches to Michelle’s hair. I adore the colour of Michelle’s hair…. The strawberry blonde is very beautiful! It didn’t take long for the girls to be ready. The purple and yellow maids dresses looked great… The colour choices went very well together. Michelle you did an awesome job. Our flowergirls for the day were very cute! I can’t believe how well-behaved they were. Thanks so much girls! You were super cute.

Michelle and Will were married in the rainforest certainly my favorite location for a ceremony at the Golf Resort! The light is amazing, the breeze in the trees and the sounds of the brides make it a relaxing a very romantic place to exchange vows.

After the ceremony we moved onto family photos and a group photo before stopping for a snack. The canapes and drinks provided by the resort are a perfect way to refresh before the photo session.

All of Michelle and Will’s photos were taken around the resort at various locations. We had ample time to explore the resort which made for a fun and relaxed photo shoot. The guests were entertained in the club house at the resort with Canapes and drinks.

It was such a beautiful day for a very sweet couple. It was a real privilege to share the day with you guys. Here are just a few images from the day. Your images are in the post… They should arrive shortly 🙂

Genny & Precious

October 16, 2013

Well it’s been a little while between blogging as things have been flat-out around here. It’s amazing how fast the wedding season is flying by. We have had some many gorgeous couples that have invited us to share their special day with them – I can’t wait to share their images with their friends and family.

Recently I caught up with Genny and Precious.- both good friends of Mike and I. They are planning to get married in Coffs Harbour in February of next year! It will be super exciting as im going to be on the bridal party. I must say it will be rather wired having Mike photograph me in a bridal party.

I met Genny and Precious at the Jetty for their session. Genny used to live in Coffs Harbour but recently moved but to Brisbane. I hadn’t seem them in a while so it was so lovely to be able to catch up with them and capture a few images of them both.

So excited for the wedding guys… Can’t wait.

Here are just a few images from the session 🙂

Sarah and John’s Engagement session

October 3, 2013

I have to say I’m really looking forward to the wedding of Sarah and Johno. They’re a great couple and from this following series of photos they photograph so well together!

We went to a small location only a few minutes from Coffs Harbour CBD, where you would think we were way out bush somewhere. It’s just on the side of the road and could easily be driven past.  The light coming in through the trees that time of day is just stunning.

It was a lot of fun doing the shoot, maybe Johno was a little nervous, but he sure didn’t look it, a combination of a great couple, great location and great lighting and I’m super happy with the results.

Here are a few pics, enjoy!!

Nicola and Mark photograph so well together… A super cute couple. Their wedding will be in Coffs Harbour this month. Im really looking forward to photographing their special day.

Both Nicola and Mark looked awesome for their session. I loved the colour of Nicola’s top… It really popped in the photos and gave her a real glow. I hope that all the wedding plans are going well guys. So excited to see you in a few weeks.

Mary & Rob’s Pacific Bay Resort Wedding

September 26, 2013

Mary and Rob’s wedding day was absolutely stunning everything they had dreamed for… from the weather right through to the food and timing of the day. It was perfect!!

The first time I met Mary and Rob after calls and emails to Mary was at their engagement session. It was a cold afternoon and it had been raining all afternoon. Mary had got her trail makeup done and we weren’t sure if we would be able to have the sessions as the weather was so bad. I really hoped that their wedding day wasn’t like. The weather was the complete opposite. it was simply perfect. They couldn’t have asked for a better day.

I started the day with Rob and his boys who were getting ready at Pacific Bay Resort where the wedding ceremony would be held and the reception also. Rob and his groomsman were great fun. They were organised thanks to Rob’s sister who was visiting from New Zealand. It was so  nice for Rob to have all his closest mates with him to stand by his side on such a special day. The boys had traveled from NZ for the wedding which was greatly appreciated by our couple.

After photographing a few images of the boys I made my way out to Boambee where Mary was preparing with her girls. When I arrived all the  bridesmaids were ready – It is always such a delight when I arrive and it’s so organised. Mary was having her makeup put on while her bridesmaids were sorting out some finer details for the ceremony and reception.  It was so time to Mary to step into her very flattering dress. Mary looked amazing. It was such a pleasure to photograph you girls.

We headed to the ceremony about 20mins to our due time. The Ceremony was held on the betting Tea at Pacific Bay Resort. The sun was shinning, the water trickling in the pond and the sound of birds and excited guest could be heard.

Mary was breath-taking as she walked down the aisle towards her gorgeous groom who shed a tear or two!

After the ceremony which was conducted by a local pastor we were able to capture some family photos and a group photo before heading on our photo shoot. Mary and Rob’s photos were taken at both Pacific Bay Resort and the Jetty.

It was a great day guys. I hope that you had an awesome time on your honeymoon and you are settling into reality again.

Here are just a few images from the day.
