Chloe & Richard’s Engagement Session
Last Friday just before Chloe and Richard’s wedding on Saturday I caught up with them at the Jetty for their engagement session. It was such a gorgeous afternoon. The light was amazing and the weather so warm.
Chloe and Richard travelled down from QLD for their wedding. I was super excited for their engagement session as the light that afternoon was so beautiful. Chloe and Richard were very excited for the wedding which was the following day. It’s so awesome to be able to capture memories for couples that will last a lifetime. 🙂
Here are just a few photos from our session. Looking forward to sharing the wedding photos with you all shortly.

Im so excited to blog this session as Kellie & Brenton will be exchanging vows this Saturday at the Bonville Golf Resort!! Their engagement session was taken just out of town as they aren’t really beach people. Kellie and Brenton travelled down from Grafton for their session! Thanks so much for making the trip down!
Brenton and Kellie are super cute and were so much fun to photograph. Â I first met this very cute couple at Tahlia and Nathan’s wedding last year. How fast has that time gone! It’s amazing. Dion & Lyndsey’s Engagement Session
Last month just after the Valla Beach Bridal expo Mike and I caught up with Dion and Lyndsey for their engagement session. Mike photographed Dion’s sisters wedding last year and now it’s time for Dion to marry his best friend!!
Dion and Lyndsey met us a the main beach in Valla. It was raining on and off all afternoon and I was worried that possibly we wouldn’t be able to do the shoot. By the time 3.30/4pm came around the rain had passed and it was a gorgeous afternoon. The light was amazing and we even had a rainbow to photograph.
The session was so much fun. I talked so much that I left my shoes half way up the beach, so Mike and I after the session had to go shoe hunting LOL!!
Dion and Lyndsey are getting married at Opal Cove resort in September … Just a few weeks away now. I can’t wait to photograph this gorgeous couple. They are so amazing and have such a spark between them.
Here are just a few images from the session.

Kelly & Kris
A few weeks back Mike & I met up with Kelly and Kris who were staying at Pacific Bay resort. They had come down to Coffs to do some wedding planning so we took the opportunity to met and also to do their engagement session.
Kelly & Kris are country people so weren’t too keen on the idea of beach photos, they preferred a more country location. We wanted to take advantage of the beautiful surrounds of Pacific Bay so we decided to use the sand dunes in the beach and the gardens for the photos. The light was incredible and made for some gorgeous images of such a cute couple.
Kelly & Kris’ wedding will be November of this year. Â Their wedding will be held at Bonville Golf Resort. Super excited to be part of this couples special day.
Here are just a few images from their session. We will post some more on facebook soon.

Jenna & Ashley
Recently Mike and I headed up to Ballina for the wedding of Jenna and Ashley. They were married on a Thursday as it was the anniversary of when they met. Super cute I think. Some of you may remember Jenna and Ashley from their recent engagement session. They did their session a couple of weeks before their wedding. It’s such a perfect way to prepare for the wedding photos.
Mike dropped me off at the girls first before he headed over to Ash and his boys who were getting ready in Alstonville in his parents home, While Jenna and her girls were getting ready in Ballina just a few minutes away from the ceremony and reception venue.
The girls looked som awesome. Laura from Specturm hair in Coffs also travelled up. Laura did an awesome job at the girl’s hair. I loved Jenna’s dress. It was so pretty … The flower was gorgeous. Jenna and her Mum made the girls bouquets. I adored them. Do it yourself bouquets can sometimes be a little tricky to get right but you girls did an amazing job!!
The ceremony was held at Dunes on Shelly which was also the location of the reception. The ceremony was beautiful. Jenna and Ashley were married with about 140 for their friends and family present to witness and celebrate your special day. Their ceremony was conducted by a celebrant who was a friend of the family. Â Family photos were taken straight after the ceremony as was the group photo. There wasn’t much time after the ceremony before the sun set and the rain clouds came over so we headed of rather quickly after the family photos to capture some images of our couple and their party.
We started the shoot at a sugar cane field on Ross road in lennox Head. It was an awesome location for photos. I can’t believe how well the weather held off at the feild while we capture the images. It began to rain so we decided to head back to the beach/headland for photos while it was raining. It was so perfect it stopped raining as soon as we arrived at the beach/headland so were able to take advantage of the gorgeous light. Our final location was near the breakwall in Ballina in the grass of the sand dunes. I loved the grass and the light in these dunes. It was gorgeous.
It always goes dark so fast in Winter so it was soon time to head back to Dunes on Shelly for the reception. Jenna and Ashley decided on a cocktail style wedding. It all ran so smoothly.
Jenna and Ashley certainly had a perfect wedding day and it was a privilege for both Mike and I to share it with them.
Here are just a few images from their wedding. Mike and I will post some more images on facebook shortly.
