Mike and I have been preoccupied with all our photobooth excitement that we have fallen behind with our blogging. The photobooth arrives next week after our training day. Im so excited to test it out next week and share all our embarrassing photos of Mike and I. Finally got a moment to share this cute couples special day.  A couple of weeks back I spent the day with Leisa and George at the really gorgeous Aanuka Beach Resort. It was a Friday which is an awesome day to have a wedding as it gives all the guest a long weekend to catch up with each other! It’s a great idea to have that extra time with friends and family.

I started the day with Leisa and her gorgeous little girls!! It was a lot of fun! The girls were gorgeous! George and Leisa opted not to have me visit George for images before the wedding so I got to spend more time with the girls.

The ceremony was performed by Alison Barttlet. Alison is a really fun and awesome celebrant. I love the way Alison is so relaxed and personalised all her ceremonies. She a cute girl!!

The ceremony was held in the Chapel. I thought it was rather cute when Leisa’s youngest girl wanted to be carried down the aisle with Leisa. It was super cute and a  special moment to capture. After the ceremony we were able to spend some time getting photos with family and friends before capturing just a few images of Leisa and George together. They then joined their guests for a lunch at Aanuka.

A couple of weeks ago I attended a wedding Expo at the beautiful inland city of Tamworth, as most of you probably know we do quite a bit of work out that way.

It was a great opportunity to catch up with Anna and Tom, an up coming wedding of mine, for their engagement session. It was a fairly cool Sunday afternoon and we headed down to King George Lane to get some shots amongst the beautiful big trees there. Afterwards it was to the centre of town near the old post office where we did the rest of the photos. Anna and Tom are a great couple, and the photos were so easy to do!

A weekend recently Mike and I took the extremely beautiful drive out to Bellingen on a Saturday afternoon to photograph the gorgeous Danielle and Ben who had travelled up from Kempsey for their engagement session. Thanks so much for making the trip up.

They are super cute. Bellingen was such a perfect location for their shoot. It was an amazing winters afternoon, the coolness in the air but the soft winter sun was shinning. I love photographing in the winter sun. The shadows are soft and the light is magic. It was so awesome, Danielle looked super cute in her simple white knitted jumper and jeans. It was perfect to capture some very cuddly winter moments of such an adorable couple.

Danielle and Ben will be getting married at the begining of next year. Im so excited to be part of their special day. It felt so effortless photographing this couple they are perfect and so in love. Their wedding day will be so amazing. I simply can’t wait to capture all their special moments. In the meantime here are just a few our their very sweet images from our session. Late on a recent Saturday afternoon Mike and I caught up with Mary and Rob for their engagement Session. Weather wise it was one of those afternoons you didn’t really want to leave the house. It was cold, a little windy and very wet. There was a couple of times during the afternoon we were thinking we may have to postpone the shoot as the rain was so heavy. Thankfully it eased for us and we were able to capture some gorgeous images.

Mary and Rob are travelling down from QLD for their wedding a little later in the year. It’s rather exciting for them as they have lots of family coming over from New Zealand. It will be awesome to met them all and capture some really beautiful moments for them.

Recently Brooke and Jon were married on the lawns just outside the Gleniffer Hall. This has to be one of my favorite locations for a wedding, Particularly this time of year the Maple trees look incredible.

I started the day with Brooke, It suited Jon and Brooke’s day that we spent all the preparation time with Brooke and her girls. Brooke got ready at Lily Pily Country House. This bed and breakfast was amazing… So beautiful. The light was magic and the location/mood of the house is perfect for a girl to prepare for her special day. Brooke and her bridesmaid/maid of honor Andrea got ready together along with Brooke’s mum Sharon. I thought it was the sweetest thing that Brooke’s three sisters dropped in to spend some time with Brooke before the ceremony. It meant a lot to Brooke!!

Kelli Thomas did the girl’s hair and makeup. Kelli really has a special talent. The tones of the girls skin was amazing. Brooke’s dress was stunning. The back of the dress was so amazing… I feel in love with the lace on her dress and the flowers were pretty special. Brooke carried roses and lilies. The lilies are because every birthday Jon buys his beautiful Brooke a bunch of Lilies! So so cute!!

After Brooke’s preparation photos we made our way to the ceremony which was held under the trees just outside the Gleniffer Hall. This was pretty special as Jon’s grandparents planted these particular trees some 40 years ago when they first relocated to Gleniffer. So awesome.

The beautiful Alison Bartlett preformed the ceremony for Brooke and Jon. She did a beautiful job. Alison is gorgeous … She has a real glow about her and is so vibrant. I really enjoyed the ceremony and I’m sure that Brooke and Jon were stocked with Alison’s professionalism. After the ceremony under the tress the guest all congratulated our gorgeous couple before starting with we started to work through our family photos.

Brooke and Jon had their photos around Gleniffer and the promise land. The Promise land/Gleniffer would have to be one of Mike and I’s favorite places to photograph. It is so stunning. While our gorgeous couple and our bridal party had their photos their guests enjoyed a picnic under the trees while being entertained by Vanessa and Rodger Fran.

Brooke and Jon’s reception was held in the Gleniffer hall. It was gorgeous… Very cute and a stunning vintage setting. The table settings were beautiful. Well done guys.
