Brooke & Jon’s Engagement Session
Recently I caught up with Brooke and Jon for their engagement session. I first met Brooke and Jon some time ago now. We caught up for Coffee and I fell in love with this couple. They were super cute… have a special spark and had chosen a vintage themed wedding. I was super excited when they requested we capture their special day for them as I knew they were going to be a lot of fun.
We met at the Jetty for their engagement session. At certain times of the day the lighting there is so beautiful. The day we met up for the session the light certainly didn’t disappoint. I love photographing this time of year. The sun is amazing!!
Brooke and Jon are were so much fun to photograph and I was super excited to here about how all the wedding plans were coming along. They will be exchanging their vows out at Glennifer and having the wedding photos and reception out there also. The promise land and Glennifer are such beautiful places for photos…. Super excited for the wedding guys… Can’t wait to see how amazing Brooke is going to look and excited to capture all your special moments 🙂

Christina and Scott’s Grafton Wedding :-)
Recently I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Christina and Scott. I first met this couple at “The Coffee Club” which was rather funny as Christina and Scott actually met at “The Coffee Club” in Cairns. It was rather ironic as I had no idea when we arrange to met this very cute couple there to discuss their wedding plans.
I was excited about their wedding from the time that we met. They had chosen a very elegant theme…. White, Silver and Black. It all come together so well. I started my day the reception venue. Christina and her family had made all the decorations and set up the reception themselves. It was gorgeous so we ensured that we captured every detail for our adorable couple.
After photographing the reception venue I headed over to Scott and his best man Jonathon who were getting ready at Scott’s parents house. Scott was rather relaxed… He had a pretty easy morning even squeezing a gym session in. LOL! The boys were great to photograph. They were a lot of fun.
It was soon time to head over to the girls. I loved where Christina was getting ready. There was a very quirky red chair which was perfect for bridal preparation photos. It was awesome to have both a bride and a groom so organised!! Shall we thank Christina or Scott for that?
The ceremony was held at St Stephens Presbyterian Church. It’s a cute little church. The ceremony was very lively. I loved capturing all the little moments between Scott and Christina during the ceremony. They were so cute!
Following the ceremony we did a group photo and then moved on to family photos. It was such a hot day in Grafton. Thanks so much for all the guest and family who made the family photos and group photo so easy despite how hot it was. Because of the heat when we had finished the family photos the bridal party and I sat in air conditioning to call off! After cooling off and having a really big drink of water we started the formal photos.
Grafton has some amazing locations for photos. The light is magic. We visited Fig Tree avenue for the car and most of the group photos before heading over to the post off and the park near the crown hotel.
Christina and Scott I think were both looking forward to the end of the photos …. I secretly was too as it was such a hot day. Scott was so patient with me and even left his jacket on despite how hot it was.
Christina and Scott’ s reception was held at Harvest Valley restaurant. It was gorgeous…. Such a beautiful venue… and the food was awesome too! It was a great day and an awesome evening. I hope you guys enjoyed your week in Coffs after the wedding. So sorry we didn’t get to catch up while you were down in Coffs. Such bad timing with moving house LOL!!
Chat to you guys soon.

Kara & Mike’s Aanuka Beach Resort Wedding
Recently I had the pleasure of attending and capturing the beautiful moments of Kara and Mike Wedding. Kara and Mike actually live overseas but travelled back home to Australia to celebrate their special day with Family and Friends.
I started the day with Mike and his boys. They were a lot of fun to photograph, awesome to have a group of boys that were ready! LOL! Mike as well as Kara got ready in the beautiful rooms at Aanuka Beach Resort which was also the location of their ceremony and Reception. I spent about half an hour with the boys before I headed over to the girls.
Kara and her girls were a lot of fun. Kara looked amazing! I loved your dress. I’m a big fan of bows… so loved the ribbon around your waist with the bow tied at the back…… super cute!! It was stunning! Your girls looked gorgeous too. The dark blue was an awesome colour. Barbara your dress matched perfectly and looked amazing on you.
The ceremony was held on the lawns at Aanuka. Kara and Mike had arranged for a celebrant to travel up from Sydney to perform the ceremony. Forgive me please for forgetting his name, he did an amazing job. Kara and Mike’s vows were really beautiful. They personalised them …. I nearly cried…. If I were a guest I think I would have…. Thankfully I had my camera to keep me distracted. LOL. Kara and Mike’s friends played their instruments as Kara walked down the aisle with her Mum and Dad. It was a very beautiful moment watching Kara walk down the aisle and seeing Mike’s reaction. Priceless moments.
After the ceremony we gathered around the lawn for a group photo and family photos before heading to a couple of locations around the resort for photos. One of my favorite locations at Aanuka to photograph around is the Chapel. The flowers in the garden and the Chapel itself are beautiful backdrops. 🙂
It was such a pleasure to share Kara and Mike’s special day with them. I hope that your images arrived before you headed to Thailand and before arriving home in Spain.
Beast wishes guys for your future together and thank you so much for sharing your special day with us.

Michelle & William’s Engagement Session
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting up with Michelle and William at the Jetty. This couple is the sweetest ever!! I really enjoyed their shoot and am excited to spend their wedding day with them… We are going to have a ball! I loved hearing about how you guys met… Your super cute!!
I met Michelle and Will at the Jetty. They had travelled up from Sydney to visit Michelle’s family in Yamba so planned to have their engagement session while they were up this way. I felt bad when I arrived for the session as Michelle and Will’s flight arrived earlier in Coffs and they had to kill time waiting for the session with all their luggage. So sorry guys… I really should have phoned and checked the flight schedule…. I think Im apologising more to Will than Michelle, as Michelle went shopping LOL!!
This sweet couple is getting married in September at the beautiful Bonville Golf Resort! It will be really gorgeous… I’m very excited to capture all the memories for a couple that really adore each other and are very playful!!
Thanks guys so much for an awesome session! I hope that you guys had an awesome time with Michelle’s parents. Can’t wait to met all the family at the wedding.
Here are just a few images from the session.
