Alana & Trent’s Tamworth Wedding
Recently Mike and I had the pleasure of attending Alana and Trent’s wedding in Tamworth! It was an awesome day!! The weather was very kind to us and the lighting was so beautiful.
As per usual we started with Trent and his groomsman at Trent’s parents home! The boys were a blast!! I’m not sure if we should thank Scott… Trent’s Best man or Trent’s Mum for the organisation!! They were very organised!! It was great!! Loved the boots Trent! A great touch! We hope you boys enjoyed your rum before the wedding 🙂 After a few images with the boys we headed out to girls who were getting ready in Trent and Alana’s beautiful new home!! Congratulations guys on the new home!! It’s really beautiful!!
Alana and her girls had their makeup and hair all finished when we arrived and were waiting to get started!!! There are some gorgeous images of Alana and her girls getting ready… it was hard to choose which ones to share on the blog! The blue you guys choose for the girls was an awesome colour! Loved it! Alana’s dad was so touched to see his gorgeous girl in her dress there was even a tear or two when he seen Alana in her dress for the first time! So special for us to be able to capture that!! So beautiful!!!
Alana and her girls arrived at the ceremony in some gorgeous vintage cars!! The ceremony was held at St Nicholas Catholic Church in White Street in Tamworth! After the ceremony we took some family photos at the church before heading to King George avenue for some photos!! King George avenue is one of my favorite places to photograph!! The colours are amazing and the lighting so beautiful particularly when the sun comes through the gorgeous trees!! After King George avenue we headed out to the Pavillion and finished the photo there!! We have had the opportunity to photograph some really beautiful weddings of late at the Pavillion and Alana and Trent’s was certainly one of those!!
Amy and her staff at the Pavillion certainly did another fantastic job ensuring Alana and Trent had the most gorgeous evening!!
It was a fantastic day guys! Mike and I had an awesome time!! Really excited to share the photos with you on the blog!! We look forward to seeing you guys next year at Scott and Rebecca’s wedding!!

Kristy and Siman Married!
Well it’s been a busy few days… so sorry it’s taken forever to pop this adorable wedding on the blog! Some of you may remember Kristy and Siman from their very cute engagement session at the Jetty a little while ago now! After photographing their engagement session I was super excited to be able to attend their wedding and plan a special role in their day!!
It was an awesome day! The weather was great for us and everything went to plan! So perfect. I started the day in with Siman and his boys at their awesome unit in Sawtell!! After a few images with the boys I than headed over to Kristy’s parents home in Bonville where it was all happening.
When I arrived at the girls there was a very exciting atmosphere there. The vintage car that Kristy would arrive at the ceremony in was being unloaded off the back of the trailer, Kristy and the girls were having the final touches to their hair and makeup while having a bite to eat!! I started with capturing a few details of Kristy and Siman’s special day…. the flowers, Kristy’s dress, shoes and other bits and pieces. Before long it was time for Kristy to put her stunning dress on! It was super exciting capturing this special time. Capturing putting the dress on is one of my favorite parts of the day! I loved the room that Kristy got ready in!! The lace was beautiful!! Thanks for picking such a beautiful room!!
We than headed over to the Sawtell Catholic Church where the ceremony was being held! Their was lots of excitment and anticpation at the church while we waited for Kristy and her gorgeous girls to arrive!!
After the ceremony we were able to take a quick group photo followed by some family photos!! Thanks for the co-operation of the all guests with the group photo…. it was a little challenging with such a large group!! It was soon time to head to the photo locations. Kristy and Siman had their photos taken at Sawtell beach and then we headed back out to Bonville. The second part of the photo shoot was done at Bonville Golf Resort where the reception was being held!! I love photographing at the Golf Resort it’s really gorgeous!! Such beautiful light and a beautiful location!!
The wedding reception was great fun! Kristy and Siman had Gluten Free wedding Cake….. It was so awesome!! I loved it!! It was great to be able to share some of the wedding images on the same day slideshow!! Such a great reception guys!

Kristen and Rowan’s Pavillion Wedding
Recently we had the privilege of attending Kristen and Rowan’s wedding! I can’t believe that it was April that we met up with Kristen and Rowan for their engagement session and already their wedding has been!! I keep saying this but the year is certainly flying by! I always think the last 4 months of the year get put on fast forward!
We started the day with Rowan and his groomsman at the Powerhouse in Tamworth. They were great!! So much fun! We than headed over to Rowan and Kristen’s home where the girls were preparing for the big day!! There was a lot of excitement in the house!! It was a really nice atmosphere. We started with capturing a few of the bits and pieces that make a wedding day special, the flowers, shoes and all the pretty things! it was soon time to capture a few images of Kristen’s girls helping her put her gorgeous dress on!! I think everyone would agree that Kristen looked amazing!! The dress suited you so much! I loved it!
One of my favorite images from the wedding was when Kristen was just about to leave for the ceremony and she had jumped in the car!! How excited she looked!! The ceremony and reception were held at the gorgeous Pavillion!! I know I say it every time I blogged about a wedding at the Pavillion but it’s so beautiful!! The ceremony was held in front of the pond. We than captured a few family images on the lawn before stealing the bridal party for some photos while the guests enjoyed drinks and canapes!
There are so many beautiful locations to photograph around the Pavillion but as Kristen’s favorite colour is purple we did find a purple blossom to have some photos in front of!! How well did Kristen put incorporate the purple into her day!! The flowers, her shoes and the girls dresses were awesome!! They even managed to find a purple vintage car!!
Kristen and Rowan’s reception was a real blast!! The photo fun studio is always so much fun at a reception and a great way to give everyone something a little fun to do during the quieter parts of a reception!
Im so excited to share some of the images with you all!! Can’t wait to share some more on facebook soon!

Was a lot of fun!! It was so time to head over to Lana’s parents home to capture the final preparation of Lana and her girls!! There was lots happening upon arriving at the girls. The wedding cars had just pulled up, The flowers girls and page-boy were very excited. The cat was rather curious at all the activity!!
Lana put her dress on and made the final touches to her appearance in what was her room growing up!! It was an awesome room! The light was fantastic and the decor really suited the vintage theme of the wedding!! As everyone would agree Lana looked gorgeous!! Before long we were on our way to the Dungowon church which was about a 25min drive from were the girls were getting ready!! I was rather excited on the drive to the church as I was really looking forward to Nathan’s reaction when he seen his beautiful bride!!
I hope that Nathan doesn’t mind me sharing on the blog his tears as his gorgeous girl walked down the aisle!! The flower girls and page-boy were rather excited to have arrived at the church!! I adored the waves and smiles that were happening just before the girls walked down the asile!! Was so beautiful!! What a privilege it was to see too people who really love each other join together in marriage!! It was a very enjoyable wedding to be part of!!

Leanne and Chris Tamworth Wedding
A couple of weeks back now we had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Leanne and Chris out at Tamworth.
The morning of the wedding we were met with bucketing rain, and I have to admit I thought we were going to be in for it…
But thankfully by the afternoon it had all stopped and we were ready to go. The day started for me with Chris and his best man Johnny at the Tudor Hotel in Tamworth, after a few shots of the boys getting ready it was time for the girls who were at the beautiful Ashby Hotel.
Leanne was so organised, everything in the room was just so and I was able to start photographing straight away. Leanne’s dad came to join us for quite a bit of the preparation shots which made it a lot of fun, he’s a funny guy, such awesome facial expressions makes people laugh.
The ceremony was held at the Taworth Jockey club in a beautiful big marquee that had been set up there, Leanne and Chris were’nt taking any chances with all the rain around and so had decided to have the ceremony in the marquee. A good move, as there’s nothing worse than having a hundred people running for cover during a rainstorm at a ceremony! As it happened the weather was fine and we were soon able to start on the family photos.
For the photo shoot we went to a cute little place in Tamworth called the Kalala Cottage. This group of old buildings and pretty gardens along with the vintage bridal car made for a great backdrop for photos.
We were able to catch a quick few shots of the sun setting before it was then time to head back to the marquee for the reception. Johnnys speech had to be a bit of a highlight for the evening, neither Leanne or Chris knew quite what he was going to say, the same day slideshow also went down a treat and it was then cake cut and time to dance. With all the formalities over we left Leanne and Chris to party with their friends.
Thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with you guys, here’s a few pics for now. 🙂
