Hayley and Richard’s Aanuka Wedding!
After a crazy busy couple of weeks its back to blogging for me!
Hayley and Richard were married at the beautiful beachside resort of Aanuka in Coffs Harbour. The day started as usual with us photographing the boys where they were getting ready, everything was at Aanuka so it made it super easy for us to get around.. so convenient! I had Nick with me photographing as well, making sure everything was captured. The boys were great fun to photograph, from the beers right down to the matching boxer shorts…
After that we went to the girls room where Hayley, her girls, and mum and dad were getting ready. Kelli T did the makeup and did a wonderful job as usual. And everything happened smoothly and efficiently, a great thing on a wedding day! Hayley told me how here husband to be Richard writes beautiful poetry, so here he was tough and manly, with a soft side too, she was so happy to be marrying her man and he certainly felt the same. Hayleys mum and dad also couldn’t hide there pride, and for us it was really special to be a part of it. Eva and Jonah were the cute little flower girl and page boy, so well behaved too! Except for a little hiccup during family photos with Jonah lol they were absolutely brilliant kids to work with.
We next headed to the lawn at Aanuka, it was a beautiful day, blue sky, sun shining, ocean in the background, a perfect spot for a wedding. Sam from Married by Sam was celebrant for the day and did a really nice job, very intimate and relaxed. Soon it was time for Hayley to walk down the aisle, the tears certainly flowed as dad walked her along, and we got to capture them.
Of course, once the ceremony finished and everyone congratulated our happy couple we did a group shot followed by family photos and then to the photo shoot. Aanuka had all the places we needed for the photos within walking distance so we started with the gardens and then went to the beach for our final shots there as the sun was softening over the hills.
Reception was next on the agenda, with the official entrance of our new married couple, a delicious meal and on to speeches. The speeches were great fun to listen to, and very heartfelt too, so lots of emotion there for us to photograph! The cake cut was then cut and then it was time to dance!
Thanks for having us as a part of your special day, it was an absolute pleasure.
Here are a few images from the day for now, all the rest will be sent to you shortly!!

Bek and Ryota’s Adorable Pavillion Wedding
Wow… We are already half way through October!! How fast is this wedding season going!! Mike and I have had trouble keeping up with our blogging but are getting there!! There will be lots of sharing of images in the next two weeks!! Super excited about this!!
You all may remember Bek and Ryota’s very cute engagement session some weeks back!! They were rather cute and I was excited to have the privilege of attending the wedding!! Bek and Ryota met while Bek was living in Japan! They met at a Cherry Blossom Picnic!! They decided to share their special day with friends and family in Tamworth as this is were Bek spent some time as a child!
The day started with Ryota and his family at the Powerhouse in Tamworth. It was so lovely to have met Ryota’s parents who had travelled all the way from Japan for the wedding!
After a few preparation photos I than headed over to the girls who were preparing for the ceremony at Plumes Bed and Breakfast! I think Plumes must be one of my favorite places for bridal preparation photos 🙂 The girls were lots of fun!! I loved how Bek’s dress reflected the Japanese culture!! The two toned roses were stunning in your bouquet. You looked gorgeous Bek!! The team from Glamor Empire did an awesome job of the makeup’s too!! Loved your look Bek!! All the girls looked gorgeous!! We had an awesome time during the preparation particularly capturing the images on the stair case!! It looked awesome!! The time always goes so fast during the preparation time, before long it was time to head over to the ceremony!!
The ceremony was held at the Pavillion in Tamworth. Amy and her team do an awesome job maintaining this gorgeous venue for weddings!! Ryota and Bek were married by the lake while family and friends watched on! It was a beautiful afternoon! The ducks were rather happy to be around while the wedding vows were exchanged! Following the ceremony we stopped on the lawn for family photos and then headed to a few locations around the Pavillion for the formal photos of the day! It was so lovely of Amy and her team to ensure that the Red bridge was beautiful for Bek and Ryota’s photo shoot!! It was a real touch of Japan! Loved it! The blossom’s in the trees also reflected the Cherry Blossom theme of the wedding! Bek and Ryota were such a blast to photograph!! They are both so full of life!! The light soon disappeared and it was time to head into the reception! The reception was also held at the Pavillion!
The reception was alot of fun!! Thanks for arranging the traditional dance for us all!! It was awesome!!
Thanks for a fantastic day guys!! Here are a few images from the day!! Will be sharing some more on facebook shortly!!

Sharon and Shannon’s wedding!!
It seems like forever ago that we photographed the wedding of Sharon and Shannon but in reality was not that long ago… it’s just been a crazy couple of weeks for Mike and I!! Some of you may remember Sharon and Shannon from their very adorable engagement session at Aanuka Beach Resort earlier in the year!! They were super cute and we were so excited to photograph their wedding after their session. How quickly that day come!!
We started the day with the boys!! They were great! Super organised!! Well done guys! We than head over to the girls who were also super organised!! It’s so awesome to turn up at the start of a wedding coverage and for everything to be so well arranged it means we can take so many more images and no one is running late!!
Sharon and her girls got ready at their house! It was so nice for Mike and I to see so many of the engagement images hanging the house!! It gives you a real buzz to see your work having a part in the lives of others!!
Sharon and Shannon’s house was great! The lighting was beautiful in the main bedroom which made for some beautiful bridal portraits!! Girls you looked so beautiful!! After our preparation time with the girls we made our way out to Qurindi – about 30mins out of Tamworth to where Sharon and Shannon exchanged their wedding vows!! As Sharon’s Dad was a truck driver it was fitting for the girls to arrive at the ceremony in trucks!! The wedding was held at Sharon’s families church. The wedding followed by an afternoon tea for the guest who weren’t coming to the reception!! We weren’t able to stay around for longs as we had to make our way back into Tamworth for the photo shoot!!
We started the shoot in the CBD of Tamworth before heading out to the Pavillion where we finished the photo session and enjoyed the reception! We have seen Amy and her staff at the Pavillion so many times in the last month!! They must be nearly sick of us! LOL!
It was so lovely to have spent your wedding day with you guys!! Thanks for an awesome day…. so pleased to finally have a moment to share some with you all. Hope you having a great honeymoon!

Gemma and Troy’s Pavillion Engagement Session!
We’ve had the opportunity quite a few times of late to photograph at the Pavillion wedding venue in Tamworth. Whilst doing weddings in the area I met up recently with Gemma and Troy there for a morning engagement session. Their wedding is going to be in March next year at the Pavillion, and as time often flies by before a wedding we arranged to do their engagement photos quite early before the big day.
It was a glorious Sunday morning when we did the shoot, and Gemma wore a beautiful vintage/retro little dress. She has these awesome little pink shoes which Amy loved and wanted to take. Troy was matched well with what he wore too… Well done Gemma!
Here are a few images from the photo session, you guys were so relaxed and great fun to photograph!
Looking forward to your wedding next year!!

Krystal and Greg’s Gorgeous Bonville Wedding!!
The wedding season is certainly in full swing now! There’s going to be tonnes of blogging over the next few weeks so keep posted for that! September to November is pretty crazy so our blog is going to be running a little behind as we process the work.. please be patient though!
We recently caught up with a lovely couple to photograph their wedding, Krystal and Greg. The day started beautifully, the weather was great for the wedding as it has been for the last few weeks. (great for us that is… farmers might want to see a bit of rain… but we’re happy for it to remain dry!)
We started with Greg and his best man at his house, Krystal informed me that the house would be tidy and it sure was! It was spotless, and that made it all the more easy for us to get the shots we wanted without having to be constantly moving stuff around, thanks Krystal!
After a few portraits of the two guys (and yes Greg did look pretty smart in his suit) we headed to the beautiful Bonville Golf Resort to where Krystal, her maid of honour and her sister were getting ready.
Krystal wore a beautiful red wine coloured dress for her wedding, it was unique and the colours photographed really nicely, a deep rich red.
Before long it was time for the ceremony to begin. I headed to the rainforest at Bonville (one of our favourite spots to photograph wedding ceremonies) and set up there. Its always good fun getting a few shots of the groom waiting for his bride!
Amongst the beautiful big trees in the rainforest and surrounded by close family and friends Greg and Krystal said their vows, sealed it with a kiss and then of course signed the legal paperwork. Betsy White was Krystal and Greg’s celebrant and she did a beautiful job with the ceremony as always.
Family photos were next on order, followed by the photo shoot. We headed to a number of different locations around the resort, on the back of the golf buggy which was fun. There was plenty of variety of locations to choose and the photos were a breeze.
Soon enough it was time for the reception, and after a few more shots it was time for me to go.
Here are a few pics from the day, hope you enjoy them… there’s plenty more where they came from and you will have them soon!!
