Recently Mike and I travelled down to Kempsey to catch up for Lauren and Andy’s Engagement session! It was so great to finally have met you both!! Arranging a date was a little challenging as Lauren and Andy live away with coordinating work and us being available was a little hard!! So pleased we got there thou!!

We had planned to met with Lauren and Andy at crescent head for their session but the weather came over really bad so we went to plan be and took the images at Lauren’s parents property just out of Kempsey!! It was a great property and  was awesome to have the horses and their dogs at the shoot also!! It’s so nice to be able to incorporate aspects of a couples life into an engagement session and make it special for them!! The session was lots of fun and the stormy sky made for such an awesome backdrop.

So great to finally met you both after all the calls and emails!! Really looking forward to the horse photos on the beach for the wedding!! Super excited!! It will come around really fast!!

Last weekend while Mike and I were yet again in Tamworth we were able to catch up with Bek and Ryota for their engagement session!! It was such a freezing afternoon!! Bek you did so well to hide how cold you were!! I was freezing and I was rugged up!! It had been a little while since I had first met this very cute couple! It was great to have caught up with them again before the wedding!

I really wanted to jump online and share Bek and Ryota’s engagement photos this morning before I headed off to photograph their wedding here in Tamworth. Mike and I both have gorgeous couples to photograph today! Mike after spending the night here with me is on the road back to Coffs to photograph the wedding of Greg and Krystal at the beautiful Bovnille Golf  Resort! It’s stunning there, while Ill be at the Pavillion photographing the gorgeous wedding of Bek and Ryota!

Im looking forward to meting Ryota’s parents and some of the other guests at the wedding who have travelled all the way from Japan to witness the wedding of this very cute couple!! It’s exciting to be able to capture this wedding.

Recently Mike and I had the honors of photographing Bek and Chris’ wedding in Byron Bay. You many remember their engagement session as it was only a few weeks ago in Bangalow!! We had a  blast at their engagement session so had been looking forward to the wedding since the session!

Mike and I stayed the night before the wedding in Byron Bay. We woke up to the most gorgeous day in Byron! It had been extremely windy leading up to the wedding but disappeared for Saturday!! We had been hoping the wind would pass as the ceremony was being held at the light house in Byron! We were so pleased it did! Chris and Bek had a morning wedding. The ceremony was held at 11am!!

We started the day with a cup of tea in a very cute cafe in the CBD of Byron, just walking distance from where Chris and his boys had been getting ready! We met with the boys briefly before heading to the girls. It was great because Chris and Bek were getting ready at two different Motels that were walking distance apart so we were able to jump between the two locations to really capture their morning preparations well!!

We really enjoyed the preparation time. Bek looked amazing… her makeup was so perfect! A big thanks to her artist! Your dress looked beautiful! It was soon time to head up to the light house to witness the most beautiful ceremony! Bek arrived at the ceremony in the same cars from “flammin good cars” that Jess arrived in the week before! They are rather trendy cars!!

After the ceremony Mike snapped a few family photos while I ensured all the guest were on the bus to head down for drinks and nibbles! We than captured a few images at the gorgeous light house before heading to a location just out of Byron that Chris found for us 🙂

The reception was held at the Byron Bay Surf Club. They had a cocktail type reception!! The food was awesome! The reception went so fast also before long it was time to head down to the beach to capture a few sunset images in the gorgeous golden light of the afternoon!

Mike and I are certainly in the full swing of wedding season!! We have fallen a little behind with our blogging but will soon chat up I hope before the season gets busier!! It’s kinda wired that Tilly and Rhett received their images about a week ago and we have only just had a fee mintue to share them with you all!

Recently I caught up with Tilly and Rhett. They travelled up from Port Macquarie for their engagement session!! It was such an amazing Sunday afternoon! The lighting was perfect!! Well worth the drive I think! I love this time of year!! When the Sun shines and the rain stays away!! So far we haven’t had to do any shots in the rain and lets hope it stays that way! We decided on a little more of a country theme for the engagement session as there will be plenty of opportunity for beach photos at the wedding!

Tilly and Rhett were guests at Hailey and Tim’s wedding earlier in the year!! I can’t believe how fast time flies thou! It’s already September! Tilly and Rhett’s wedding is planned for early November! It will be held in Port Macquarie! Im looking forward to shooting a wedding in Port… It’s been a little while… when last October I think the last wedding was in Port!
