To kick-start our very busy wedding season we had the privilege of photographing Jess and Chris’ wedding. It was a stunning day and I must say a stunning wedding. We have been meaning to blog this wedding all weekend but while we were in Byron Bay on Saturday for a wedding I misplaced the internet stick and have only just found it!! Don’t you love it when you put things in special places! LOL!!

Jess and Chris’ wedding was held in Grafton. Jess and her mum had spent so much time preparing all the decorations together! They were so amazing!! You did an amazing job girls. All of the reception decorations were handmade. Jess’s Mum made the ring cushion that was carried down the aisle by Harmony! I loved it!! It tied in so well with the theming of the wedding! Mike and I really enjoyed photographing all the gorgeous details of the reception!!

Mike and I started the day with Chris and his boys! They were so organised!! Thanks a bunch guys for an easy groom’s preparation session! We than headed over to the girls who were just as organised!! After photographing the gorgeous details of the girls we  than had the privilege of capturing a few images of Jess have her dress done up and making her final preparations before she met Chris!

The ceremony was a gorgeous garden ceremony held at the South Grafton Golf course! Jess arrived in the pink cars provided by “Flamin Awesome Cars” from Lismore! They certainly arrived in style! The location of the wedding was very cute location!! The garden was beautiful! I loved that the flowers in the tins either side of the aisle! They looked amazing! After the ceremony we captured a few family photos before heading to our locations for their photo shoot! We headed to a few different locations around Grafton! The lighting was so perfect and the bridal party were so great considering how freezing it was for you girls!!

We spent most of the time for the shot around the crown hotel before heading over to Fig Tree Avenue for the final part of the shoot! We had a fantastic time at the wedding guys and thanks so much for letting us share your beautiful wedding on our blog!!

Last Friday afternoon we caught up with Kristy and Siman for their engagement session! I was concerned about the weather for the afternoon session on Friday. The wind had really picked up at the end of Peter and Jess’ session in the morning and the clouds come over at about lunch time, but by the time it was to start the session with Kristy and Siman the afternoon was gorgeous. The sun was shinning and letting off it’s gorgeous orange glow!

We decided to have the shoot at the Jetty. We have done many shoots at the Jetty lately but many of our couples have spent much of their free time around the Jetty. For Kristy it was a place she was involved in sport so was fitting to have the session at the Jetty and along the beach!!

We had a great time on the session. Kristy and Siman are adorable together!! Kristy had her trail hair and makeup done for the session, which is a great idea so that you can see how the makeup photographs. It was gorgeous Kristy!! I loved the curls in your hair too!! Stunning. Can’t wait to see how amazing you will look on the wedding day!! I think Siman will be looking forward to that too!!

The session went so fast, We had a great time and captured some amazing images. I hope you guys will be all ready and relaxed about your wedding photos now. Not long until the wedding!! Can’t wait!

We have been looking forward to september starting…. and what a fabulous september it’s looking like. hopefully there will be no rain and the sun will continue to shine!!

It’s certainly been a busy few weeks already and we haven’t even really started wedding season. Last weekend we caught up with three gorgeous couples for their engagement session and attended an adorable wedding in Grafton. We started our weekend on Friday morning meeting with Jess and Peter for their engagement session. Jess and Peter travelled up from Macksville for the day to do some wedding planning. We were able to kick-start their day of wedding planning with an awesome session on the Jetty beach. I hope you both had an awesome day taste testing the menu for the wedding and checking our honeymoon locations!

Jess and Peter’s wedding is scheduled for January!! It will come around so fast. This year seems like it has passed with just a blink. I can’t believe we have been back from Africa for 9 months already! Time certainly flys by!

Peter sprained his ankle just before the engagement session! It was rather funny as last time I caught up with Jess and Peter was at the bridal fair in Coffs Harbour and Jess was in a wheelchair after some surgery and this time Peter was on crutches!! Let’s hope that all injuries are over now!!

Last Sunday afternoon we caught up with Hailey and Rich for the engagement session. I’ve been meaning to blog all week but it’s been such a hectic week with wedding season begining that we are already behind on the blogging!! We will have to catch up this week!! I can’t believe that Hailey and Rich’s wedding is less than a month away!! Time just flys! They travelled across from Tamworth for a wedding on the Saturday so took the opportunity to get a few things done before the wedding which will be here in Coffs Harbour. One of those things was their engagement session.

It was so nice for Hailey and Rich to have such a perfect afternoon on the beach for their session. The sun has been so beautiful lately. Mike and I aren’t a fan of the cold so I am really looking forward to summer being here. The days recently have certainly got me excited for summer!!

Hailey and Rich are such a down to earth couple!! Their wedding is going to be so much fun to photography. It will be held at the gorgeous Aanuka Beach Resort!!

Recently I caught up with Lauren and Spencer for their engagement session. It was one of our last Saturday’s without a wedding before the wedding season begins. We had planned to go out to Gennifer but didn’t quiet get there!! We stayed fairly close to Bello for the shoot! I was a little worried about the weather for their shot as it starting spitting just before we were scheduled to start!! The winter sun didn’t disappoint us…. right at the end of the shoot it decided it was time to come out!!

I had such a great time catching up with Lauren and Spencer during their engagement session. They are an adorable couple!! So easy to capture natural expressions between them. It makes me so happy to see such gorgeous people have a real spark between them! Engagement sessions are such an awesome time to get to know a couple better and discuss all the wedding plans!! The plans sound like they are coming along really well!! I’m super excited and can’t wait to see how gorgeou Lauren will look on her wedding day!!

It was so lovely to catch up with you both!! We had been planning this shoot for some time! Thanks so much for travelling down for the shoot guys!! Really looking forward to the wedding!!
