Lisa and Aaron’s Aanuka Beach Resort Wedding
A week and a half ago I photographed the wedding of Aaron and Lisa.
They came across from Tamworth to have their wedding at the beautiful beachside resort of Aanuka in Coffs Harbour.
Lisa and her bridesmaids got ready at one of the rooms there as did Aaron and his groomsmen who were all his brothers. After doing the pre-wedding photos it was time for the ceremony to start. Kim Pyper also previously from Tamworth officiated the ceremony. After plenty of laughs and a few tears Lisa and Aaron sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
After everyone congratulated the happy couple family photos were next followed by the photo shoot. The gardens around Aanuka provided a beautiful backdrop for the first part of the shoot before we headed down to the beach to do some final, more intimate and relaxed photos.
The reception was heaps of fun, the speeches were great and Aaron was able to show off some of his moves when it came to the bridal waltz. With the formalities over it was then time for the party to begin. 🙂
Thanks for letting me be part of your day! Hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon in Fiji!!

Tiffany and Peter’s engagement session
Tiffany and Peter were married last weekend and they were the sweetest couple to photograph!! A few days before the wedding I meet up with Tiffany and Peter to discuss their wedding plans and also captured a few little moments for them so they were used to working with the camera for the wedding.
We were worried about the weather for their engagement session as it had been raining but it was beautiful for the shoot. They were both so relaxed and in love and didn’t seem to nervous or stressed about their big day! I had such a great time on the shoot that I was really looking forward to the wedding. Tiffany looked so cute for her wedding I can’t wait to post some images of Tiff and Peter’s wedding on the blog. But for now he is a peak at some of their images from the engagement session.

- This is my favorite!!!
Shannon and Mitch
Shannon and Mitch were married in the middle of February. It was a gorgeous day. There were storms brewing all around Valla Beach but they just didn’t come. The weather was so pleasant and beautiful for their special day.
I started the day by meeting Mitch at their house were he was getting ready, we than headed over to the Sacred Mountain Retreat in Valla Beach were Shannon was with her Mum. Kelli was just making the final touches to Shannon’s make up and hair. Kelli did a beautiful job as usually! I just adore her work!!
After a few images of Shannon getting into her dress we than headed over to the Hungry Head Headland (Urunga) where Mitch and Shannon were to exchange their vows!! It was a beautiful outlook over the ocean and their was the slightest breeze!- Just gorgeous. Shannon looked so amazing as she walked done the aisle to marry her Mitch!! I loved your dress and the bow was so cute!! I’m a big fan of lace and bows… just gorgeous!! Shannon got her dress from Melanie Jane Bridal… Melanie and Anna are just so sweet and have some stunning dresses… I think all brides should pop into Melanie’s shop and chat with the girls about their wedding dress!! Melanie has moved from her previous shop and is now located on Harbour Drive in Coffs Harbour. The ceremony went very smoothly and was so nice to witness such a cute couple exchange their wedding vows… very cute!!
After the ceremony we than tackled a group photo and family photos. We started the formal shoot on the Hungry Head Headland and then made our way down to the beach. The beach at Hungry Head is so peaceful and really beautiful. Â We than finished the shoot on a macadamia farm! My favorite location to shoot was the Macadamia farm!! I loved the symmetry of the trees and the contrast of colours it was just beautiful.
Mitch really wasn’t keen to have his photo taken but im sure he will be happy now that he has some beautiful images with his gorgeous girl!!
Thanks for a great day guys, here are just a few images that I have been looking forward to sharing!!
Chat to you both very soon.

Brooke and Andrew’s country wedding
Recently Brooke and Andrew were married on a friends property in Quirindi, about 45min the other side of Tamworth. Upon arriving at the property I got rather excited to see all the gorgeous trees and just visioned all of these beautiful images in my head. I was very excited.
We started with Andrew and his groomsman who got dressed at Orana- which was also the property the ceremony was held. Directly across the road on the Leicster Downs property Brooke and her gorgeous bridesmaids prepared for the ceremony. When I arrived to capture the happenings of the girls before the ceremony the girls were all relaxed and ready to put on their dresses. Brooke’s dress was just so cute…. I love cute vintage inspired dresses!! They are just gorgeous. I love wearing them, I love it when brides wear them and most of all love to photograph them!!!
After a few preparation images with the girls we headed over the road to the ceremony. Brooke and Andrew were married under the most gorgeous tree in the front yard to the house on Orana!! It was stunning light under the tree and the ceremony was filled with much emotion!! It was so much fun to capture such a special love story!!
After the ceremony we did the traditional family photos and a group photo and then it was time to recreate some of the images I had visioned earlier in the day!! We spent some time around Orana before heading back over to Leicster downs which is Brooke’s families property! It was special for Brooke and Andrew to have some of their wedding images taken at Leicster downs as Brooke had spent much time on the property growing up. I loved the old truck that Brooke and Andrew had kindly got moved into an awesome place in the paddock so that they could have some of their photos taken their, We also ventured into the shearing shed and then back down onto the front paddocks and road way for the final part of the shoot.
It was a gorgeous day and I had such a wonderful time capturing the images and memories of their special day.
Thanks so much and we will chat soon
