Nicole and Luke’s Coffs Harbour Wedding

November 1, 2014

Nicole and Luke got married in Coffs Harbour just a few weeks back. The guys started their day playing some holes at the spectacular Bonville Golf Resort, before heading to their room to get ready for the wedding. The girls had quite a bit more to do however and whilst the guys were mucking around they were busily getting ready. I guess they have a lot more to do!

The bridal prep photos were done at Nicole’s parents house, there were some really nice spots with natural light coming in through the windows, so we had plenty of room to choose from. I headed to the Rainforest at the Bonville Golf Resort just a little before Nicole and her girls to catch a few shots of the guys nervously waiting.

The ceremony looked amazing, with the sun peeking through the trees in the rainforest. Once finished we then did a group photo, standard family photos and then it was into the golf carts to take photos around some of the locations at the resort. We didn’t have a huge amount of time so we were pretty quick getting our shots but even so we still had a good 10 minutes or so at the end to get the photos of just Nicole and Luke by themselves, my favourite part of the day, and the time where the best photos are usually taken.

The reception was held at the Classic Room upstairs in the resort, our good friend Marcus Ulrich was DJ for the night and as usual had no shortage of people filling up the dance floor! The speeches had a lot of laughter and made for some really good photos, and I have to admit I loved the food that the resort provided. We really are spoilt as wedding photographers, as were the guests that night.

Nicole and Luke did a great job planning their wedding and I think the photos give their work justice. I had a great time on the day and I hope you enjoy these pics.
