Abby & Luke | Portrait Engagement Session| Mike & Amy | Melbourne

December 1, 2015

A few weeks back before Mike & I headed up to Coffs Harbour for a break and to catch up with some of our previous couples for family photos, we caught up with Abby and Luke for their engagement session! As it’s getting dark a little later in Melbourne this time of year we met Abby & Luke at about 7pm – the light was perfect and if I can use the word magical!

Abby & Luke are such a cute couple. We had such a fun time capturing a few images for them. Here is a little sneak at their session 🙂

Jess & Dale| Bonvile Golf Resort|Mike & Amy

November 28, 2015

Recently on a trip up to coffs Habour I was so happy to be able to capture the memories of Jess & Dale. After a few months of corresponace with Jess it was also really nice to finally meet both Jess and Dale.

I started my day with Dale who was getting ready not far from Bonville Golf Resort. The boys had hired a holiday home which was gorgeous 🙂 After capturing a few images of the boys I headed to Opal Cove Resort where Jess was getting ready for the ceremony!

I was so excited to see her dress and see how beautiful the bridal party looked!! I was ceratinly not disappointed 🙂 Jess your dress was amazing and you looked gorgeous 🙂

Jess and Dale were married at Bonville Golf resort in the rainforest! It is such an amazing resort! I love the rainforest for the ceremony- it is so beautiful.

Following the ceremony we captured a few family photos and then spent a short time with the bridal party capturing some images 🙂

Thanks for such an enjoyable day. I loved every minute 🙂

Here is a sneak at some of your photos

Katie & Justin | Sky High | Mike & Amy

November 22, 2015

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of attending Katie and Justin’s wedding to capture their gorgeous memories. Their wedding was on a Monday- In all the years of doing wedding photography I think this was our first Monday wedding. You would not believe how many times I checked the diary to make sure I had the day right! I can’t think of anything worse then turning up on the wrong day to photograph someones wedding!

I started the day with Justin and his boys, who were preparing for the day at Justin’s parent’s home. The boys were great fun and so easy to capture a few images. It was then time to head over to the girls, where it was all happening. Katie had all the childern with her which created a rather lively atmosphere! The time goes so fast before the wedding and it’s soon time to head to the ceremony.

The ceremony was held at Sky High in Mount Dandenong. It was so freezing up the mountain. When I arrived at the ceremony my car read 10degrees!! Freezing for a springs day! The ceremony was soo beautiful- it truley is an amazing place!

The ceremony was followed by family photos and Katie and Justin’s photo session! Thanks so much to the bridal party for braving the cold! It was worth every minute- we achieve some beautiful images.

The ceremony was cozy and warm- the venue lite the fire! Part way for through the reception we head outside to capture the sunset overlooking Melbourne. Despite the cloud cover and rain earlier in the day we did get a sunset! So gorgeous!

Thanks for an awesome day guys! I loved capturing every mintue. Here is a sneak at some of the photos 🙂

Karina and Steve’s Bonville Golf Resort Wedding

November 9, 2015

I had the privilege again recently to travel back up to Coffs to photograph the wedding of Karina and Steve. I’ve got to admit I’m pretty excited to post these few photos up, it was such an awesome wedding. So much emotion to capture and that is just what we absolutely love to do… After all it is the emotion in a photo that you’ll really remember in years to come. What you were thinking at that time, what was happening, why you were smiling, they’re the things you’ll think when you look back at the images in the future.

As usual I started with the guys photos then headed to the girls, everyone was ready and super organised (a real credit to you Karina… and Steve probably to!). The ceremony was held at the Bonville Golf Resort in the amazingly beautiful rainforest. The light was just incredible, magic, all those adjectives come to mind. It’s the way the light filters through the trees and the lush green colours… Anyways, sorry for the rant. Back to the wedding.

From the moment Karina and Steve’s little ones started walking down the aisle you could feel the emotion and pride, particularly from the family. You could see how much Karina and Steve loved each other and their children, it was there, and there for me to photograph. YAY!

The photo shoot itself was a great opportunity to quickly explore the Bonville Golf Resort and I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Here is a small selection of the images from the day and believe me there is so much more to come!

Kirsty & Ben’s Wedding | Aanuka Beach Resort | Coffs Harbour | Mike & Amy

November 3, 2015

It doesn’t seem like that long ago I was photographing Kirsty and Ben’s Engagement session up in Coffs Harbour on the beautiful Jetty Beach, and now their wedding has been and gone and all that is left is gorgeous memories. What an amazing day it was. Kirsty and Ben were married in Coffs Harbour at the amazing beach side resort Aanuka Beach Resort. It was a very warm springs day but the light was incredible which enabled us to capture some truly beautiful images 🙂

I started the day with Ben and his boys, capturing a few images of them getting ready. The time with the boys certainly flies by and before long it was time to head over to the girls, who always have lots happening. Kirsty prepared for the ceremony with her Mum, grandma, her little sister and bridemaids. I love spending time with the girls prior to the ceremony. It one of my favorite parts on the day. I think it’s because no one else at the wedding has the opportunity to experience the emotions and beauty of the time before the ceremony. It’s a real privilege to be able to capture the memories of this part of the day.

Kirsty and Ben were married in the chapel at Aanuka. Kirsty was walked down the aisle by her father to the Scottish page pipes. A little bit of family heritage. The ceremony was followed by some family photos and then the photo session around the grounds of Aanuka.

What a gorgeous day it was. Thank you for letting us share the day with you and trusting us to capture you memories. A huge congratulations to you both.

Here is a little sneak at the photos 🙂
