Jess and Andrew’s Beach Engagement Photos

September 14, 2015

Whilst I was last up at Coffs Harbour I met up with this awesome couple for their engagement photos. We had some incredible lighting to work with as it was such a beautiful day, it was fairly early morning (well early enough for me as I had a wedding the night before!) and we were able to take advantage of the softer morning light. Other than that we had beautiful lighting and great subject material 😉

Here are a few pics from the shoot guys!

Hannah & Liam’s Engagement Session | Fitzroy Garden’s | Mike & Amy

September 9, 2015

A few weeks back I caught up Hannah & Liam in Fitzroy Garden’s for their engagement session. I first met this cute couple for coffee in Degraves earlier in the  year and had been looking  forward to their engagement session.

We chose Fitzroy gardens for the session and we certainly weren’t disappointed with the flower display we enjoyed during. The Daffodils were gorgeous and so vibrant.

Liam and Hannah are getting married next winter, Im excited to share your special day with you both. It will be here before we know it 🙂

Here are just a few images we captured at the gardens

Kate and Trumaine’s Eshoot

September 9, 2015

When I was in Tamworth for the beautiful wedding of Danielle and John I also had the opportunity to meet up with Kate and Trumaine for their engagement photo session. Their wedding will be held up north again, but in Coffs Harbour… It’ll be here before you know it and I’m really looking forward to photographing their big day.

The Eshoot was so relaxed and a lot of fun, you two pose really really well together! Made me feel like I wasn’t working at all! The location was out near the DAG Sheep Station, everywhere out that way looks awesome for photographs and the lighting we had was awesome too. I’ve only had time to put a few images up, but the rest of your photos will be sent through to you over the coming few days. Looking forward to catching up again for the wedding!

Danielle and John’s Country Wedding!

September 3, 2015

Just about a week and a half ago I travelled out to the DAG Sheep Station near Nundle, NSW. I was excited to photograph Danielle and John’s Wedding as I had met up with them during a previous trip to Tamworth and photographed their engagement portraits, they were a lot of fun to work with and posed very natural together. The DAG Sheep Station is also an incredible place to photograph. You could spend all day photographing in the grounds… Of course we had a time frame to stick to so we just had to pick our spots and be quick!

Danielle shared with me how John had proposed to her too which was very cool. Given that they both work with horses it was fitting as well. They rode together up to the top of a hill as the sun was setting and John got off his Mare and proposed… aww, just like in the movies. Amy loves that kind of stuff so she was excited to hear it to!

The wedding day itself was fantastic. Everything went so well, the weather was perfect, it signalled the end of winter to me, it actually got pretty hot which was a very nice change from the cold we’ve had in Melbourne of late! Everything was held at the one location which was so efficient and stress free for everyone involved in the day. I went between the girls and the guys for photos for the first part of the day before focusing on Danielle’s pictures. You were a stunning bride Danielle, and your mum Janelle in particular was absolutely beaming all day.

The ceremony was held in the old Sheep shed itself, it was a photographers dream, so rustic, with little bits of light peeking through the cracks… Once again we could’ve spent ages in there!

By the end of the day we had a beautiful soft setting sun and then a really fun reception for family and friends to enjoy. I had a great day at your wedding Danielle and John, thanks for having me!

Laura & Tony’s Melbourne Engagement Session| Mike & Amy | Melbourne

August 26, 2015

Recently Mike and I caught up with Laura and Tony for their engagement session. We first met briefly at Melbourne Bride Expo earlier in the year and then met for drinks to discuss their wedding plans. We are super excited to share their special day with them May of next year.

We started their engagement session at the Army Barracks on St Kilda Road before crossing over to the parks around the Botanical Gardens. Laura and Tony have an awesome vibe between them and they are super quirky and cute. Such a pleasure to spend time capturing a few images and by the end of the session you girls nailed the walking and talking. You’ll be pros for the wedding.
