Danielle & Ben’s Wedding
A little while back I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the wedding of Danielle and Ben at the gorgeous Aanuka Beach resort. I started the day by capturing a few images of the reception room. What I love most about this reception is the canopy on the room…. The lanterns and the paper balls It is such a stunning arrangement. I love the simplicity of the room. There is too may decorations or too many colour happening… Simply beautiful!! You guys did well!! Margret and Peter as well as their team from Special Occasions have done a stunning job!!
Following the decoration photos I headed over to the boys who were fairly organised for boys! LOL!! I loved the grey suits the boys wore. It is such a classic timeless colour and went perfectly with the bridesmaid dresses. Boys you did good!!
The girls were an absolute delight!! I always start with capturing the details of the girls before anything else. I certainly wasn’t disappointed, the flowers, shoes, and dress were all delightful!! So awesome!! I was particularly in love with your shoes Danielle. They are amazing!!
It was soon time to head over to the ceremony which was being held at the chapel at Aanuka Beach resort. The Chapel is quiet a cute little place to be married. Danielle and Ben had amount 75 guest which is perfect for the chapel. Although the chapel can certainly hold a lot more guests. My favorite photo from the ceremony is the one of Danielle as she walks through the doors of the chapel. Their is so much emotion/expression in the image. It captured her excitement and happiness so well.
After the ceremony we worked through our group photo as well as family photos before heading into the beautiful light for some photos around Aanuka.
It was such a stunning day. Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful day with me. It was an absolute delight to capture the memories of your special day.

Laura & Justin’s Tamworth Wedding
A little while ago while Mike was at the wedding of Leisia and Mitch in Armidale I was spending the day with the gorgeous Laura and Justin. I started my day at Laura and Justin’s house and captured a few images of the boys getting ready!! After spending some time with the girls I headed over the Laura who was spending the morning at the Powerhouse with her girls!!
By the time I made it over to the girl the weather was starting to clear and it had stopped raining. It was looking rather blink on my drive from Armidale to Tamworth the morning of the wedding. I had definitely prepared myself for a wet weather wedding but to our delight the rain cleared and it was a beautiful afternoon.
The girls were very organised when I arrived. So nice to be able to have the max.amount of time to photograph the girls because they were so organised. I loved you bouquets…very classic and beautiful! The bridesmaid dresses were stunning not to mention Laura… you looked delightful!!
The ceremony and reception were held at the Pavillion in Tamworth. The Pavillion is an awesome one stop spot for a ceremony and reception. The ceremony was held overlooking the pond. It was a simple elegant ceremony conducted by Carrie Firth.
After the ceremony we did a few family photos before taking the bridal party around the grounds of the Pavillion for photos. The grounds are so awesome… So many photo opportunities. The guests enjoyed canapes on the lawn while we captured some gorgeous photos around the grounds.
The reception was held at the Pavillion.. as usual the staff were amazing and the food great.
It was such a beautiful day and enjoyed every minute of their wedding. Thanks for sharing your wedding day with me.

Leisia & Mitch
The beautiful Peterson’s Winery in Armidale was once again the location for one of our weddings. The grounds and buildings are fantastic to photograph in and around.
Before we headed to the winery we started with a few photos of Mitch and the boys in town, we did a few shots of them getting ready at the house before we headed over to the winery. Leisia was getting ready in one of the incredible rooms there, soon family and friends began arriving and the ceremoy was to start.
A peaceful spot under the trees was where the ceremony was held. The reaction of Mitch was priceless as Leisia walked down the aisle, he could not have been happier and it was great for me to be able to capture. The grounds of Peterson’s Winery provided more than enough for us to work with and we had a great time on the shoot.
The room where the reception was held also gave us some beautiful architecture to photograph.
Here’s a few of the photos!
