I’ve been excited all week to be able to have a minute to sit down and share Dani and Steve’s wedding with you all. I fell in love with this couple last year when I met with them for their engagement session at Diggers Beach. They are such a fun-loving couple. Their engagement session was a blast and I knew Mike and I were in for a treat with their wedding.

Mike and I photographed Dani and Steve’s wedding together. It’s always nice to be able to photograph a wedding together particularly for such an awesome couple.

Dani were married at the beautiful Bonville Golf Resort. The resort is amazing and such a relaxed place to both prepare for the wedding, exchange vows and celebrate with friends and family. I started my day with Dani, her girls and ger immediate family who were all getting ready in attached rooms at the resort. Mike was with the boys.

Everything about Dani’s attire was amazing! I loved the dress, the feathers, the lace, the beading and the cut of the dress were exquisite. Your head piece and the girls dresses were divine!! The 1920’s Gatsby inspired theme reflected beautifully through your attire and the reception.

The ceremony was held in the rainforest. The weather was amazing for us. It was a little hot but the sun was shinning. The rainforest is beautiful both in the overcast weather and sun but it is certainly my favorite when the sun lights up the trees and a beautiful glow is present which was the case for Dani and Steve. Ken Palmer performed the ceremony. He always makes the couple of smile and laugh… It certainly was hard to make Dani and Steve smile… they were aglow all day!!

After the ceremony we worked our way through family photos before it was time to relax for a drink and nibble. By this stage in the day I think it’s nice for the couple to have a drink together and something to eat before heading off onto the shot.

We stayed at the golf resort for photos. There really isn’t any need to head off anywhere else for  photos as the resort is so amazing anyhow.

The reception was held in the classic room upstairs and was decorated beautifully. I loved that the dance floor was in the middle of the reception and the cake to…. it was a great feature. The flowers on your table were incredible and I loved the sitting plan…. All the stations that held a special place in Dani and Steve’s heart in London where they met.

Dani and Steve you both were such a delight to share the day with. Thank you so much for inviting us to share the day with you. It will be something that we will always treasure sharing weddings with such amazing people. It’s exciting to be able to share some of the day with all our blog readers.

It seems like forever ago now that Lara and Will exchanged vows at the beautiful Bonville Golf Resort. The wedding was held at the end of November. I’m sorry it’s taken so long to share your wedding on the blog. It some ways it’s nice to be able to reflect on some of last years weddings, particularly of couples like Lara and Will. Their wedding was such a delight to photograph. It was a real privilege to capture their memories for them.

I started the day with Lara and  as our gorgeous coupled decided not to have groom preparation photos and to spend that time on Lara’s photos.  Lara and her girls got ready at Aanuka Beach resort. I was so in love with all the details of Lara’s wedding. Her dress was stunning the lace so soft and elegant. The mint green of the bridesmaid dress was a rather romantic colour and i adored how each girl had a different style. It’s nice for the girls so they all feel comfortable. Lara your hair and make up as stunning and the long elegant vail completed your wedding attire perfectly. One of my favorite preparation images of you was of the vail being adjusted. It was dreaming beautiful and elegant. The bouquets were gorgeous. The colours so soft and pretty.

As the ceremony was held at Bonville and we were the other side of town at Aanuka Beach Resort myself and the girls headed to Bonville about 20-25mins before the ceremony was due to start. We arrived I time and made our way up to the rainforest where the ceremony was to be held. Needless to say the rainforest is by far one of my favorite ceremony locations in Coffs Harbour.

It rained for much of Lara and Will’s ceremony but it certainly didn’t stop this amazing couple from smiling and enjoying the moment. Everyone including myself juggled umbrella’s for the part of the ceremony that rained. It continued to drizzle.

The family photos were held just outside the club house and then due to the rain we had to duck in and out of shelter. The Reception was held in the restaurant  instead of the terrance lawn due to the weather- either way it was still beautiful!! I loved that Lara and Will had a circular table as their bridal table… Something a little different!

I had such a wonderful time at their wedding. Thank you so much for sharing your special day with me and inviting me to capture your amazing memories of the day. I hope that all is well with you both and your having an awesome 2014.

Not too long ago I had the opportunity to photograph the beautiful wedding of Anna and Tom. I caught up with them for an engagement session some time ago so it was great to catch up for the wedding that had finally come!

Tamworth is a great place to photograph in, there’s so much to work with. We started with Tom and the guys photos, then Anna and the girls. The ceremony, photohoot and reception were all held at the incredible Tangarrata Vineyard just out of Tamworth. The vineyard is stunning. The ceremoy was beautiful. It was nice to have a wedding that was all in one location. – It’s always alot less stressful on the couple, their bridal party and  also their guests.

I had a great time with the photos, and family photos were a breeze. We took our photo booth up for the reception, and it went down a real treat! Anna, Tom and their guest had a blast with the photobooth. The guest book with the photo strips are an awesome way to remember who was at the reception The cake cut, dancing, speeches were a lot of fun to photograh too.

I had such a great day with this awesome couple. Thanks so much for sharing your special day with us. Hope you had an awesome time on your honeymoon and enjoyed looking through your wedding photos.

At the end of last year Kelly and Kris were married at the beautiful Bonville Golf resort. To say the weather was bad for this couple was an understatement! They had some dreadful weather… from heavy rain to hail and even a little windy it was a little frustrating. It was the first time in our 5 years as wedding photographers that we have photographed a wedding where it hailed.

The wedding was held at Bonville Golf Resort. The boys got ready off location while the girls got ready at the Golf resort. I started the day with Kelly and her girls while mike was in Sawtell photographing the boys!

Kelly and her bridesmaids where alot of fun! It was nice to be with a bride under such poor weather conditions that was simply excited to get married! Kelly looked so cute. The choice of a fun 1950’s inspired dress that was knee-length and was adorable! It suited Kelly so much. I loved it! The flowers were amazing! The colours were vibrant. The navy blue bridesmaids dresses looked amazing on the girls and really made the flowers pop. Girls you looked stunning! Kelly is such a privileged girl to have friends like you girls around her!

The ceremony was planned for the rainforest but due to the hail and rain the ceremony was held upstairs in the gallery at the Golf Resort. Although it’s not quiet the same as having the ceremony at outside the gallery does offer a beautiful view and atmosphere to exchange vows.

Following the ceremony we tackled family photos… thanks everyone for being so great under the weather conditions it was a little tricky for everyone. The photo shoot still went ahead. The staff at Bonville have a real drive and will make anything that’s possible happen. We took the bonville bus and headed to our locations. It was saturated but both Kelly, Kris and their bridal party were such good sports and put up with our instructions to ensure we captured some beautiful images of their special day.

At the beginning of November we met Tahnee and Jamie in person for the first time. It was just a few days before their wedding. Mike and I got every excited about their wedding after we met this vibrant couple! We could see then it was going to be an awesome day. And an awesome day it was.

Tahnee got ready at the gorgeous Bonville Golf Resort while Jamie and his boys prepared for the ceremony off location. Mike started the day with Jamie and I started my day with Tahnee and her girls.

I feel in love with Tahnee’s bridesmaids dresses from the moment I seen them. They are two birds dresses are a stunning colour. I loved them so much that I ordered one for the wedding party I was in last weekend- expect my was lilac.

Tahnee, you looked amazing, Your dress was gorgeous, your hair stunning and the flowers were exquisite. I had such a good afternoon capturing images of you girls getting ready. Before long it was time to head up the rainforest for the ceremony.

The light during the ceremony was simply amazing! It was so beautiful and it was hard to control how many photos we were taking under the trees as it was stunning. The ceremony was conducted by David Faye who did an awesome job. David is one of the few male wedding celebrants in the Coffs Harbour area.

After the ceremony we took some family photos in the rainforest before heading to a couple of locations around the resort for photos.

The reception was also held at the golf resort in the classic room. It’s a perfect location for a wedding celebration. The food is also always amazing!!

Tahnee and Jamie, it was such a perfect day. We really enjoyed every minute of your wedding and we are thankful for letting us share your special day with you both.
