Recently Mike and I headed out to Bellingen to met with Michelle and Nick to discuss the progress of all their wedding plans and also to take a few images of them before the wedding so they are prepared to put up with myselft on their special day.

Michelle and Nick are currently living in Tasmina, they however are getting married in Armidale on Michelle’s parent’s property. It was really exciting to hear how all the plans are going. They have lots of guests travelling so will be such an awesome time to catch up with everyone.  It’s certainly a challenge doing a DIY wedding from such a distance away but all the plans are sounding really awesome. 🙂

After a Coffee at one of the gorgeous cafe’s in Bellingen we headed out for our engagement session. I think I spent more time talking than shooting… Promise I will concentrate for the wedding LOL!!

Last month in July Mike and I travelled up to the wedding of Leanne and Michael. I love winter weddings.  The weather during the day is usually amazing!! It certainly didn’t disappoint us for Leanne and Michael’s wedding. The day was gorgeous!!

Leanne and Michael had travelled across from WA to share their special day with family and friends. Leanne and Michael first met when Leanne was in Canada working as a Nanny for one of Michael’s relatives, and kept in contact. There relationship obviously blossomed which lead to them making the beautiful commitment of marriage.

Mike and I attended the wedding together. We thought it was very cute how Leanne prepared for the ceremony at her parents home just near Yamba and Michael right next door at a house that is rented for holidays. Mike started the day with Michael and his brother who was his best men and while I spent the preparation time with the girls. It went so fast. It was soon time to make our way over to the ceremony which was to be held in a church in Maclean. It was about a 10 mintue drive from where our couple prepared for their special day.

The ceremony was short but personal a the church. The ceremony was followed by a group photo and family photos. It was awesome that a few of Michael’s relatives could watch the ceremony over Skype. Thankfully this day and age even if we can’t physically be somewhere we don’t have to miss some of the most amazing parts of our families life.

The photos for Leanne and Michael’s wedding were taken around Maclean and a couple of different places. My favorite location for this shoot was at the local showground. There were some cute sheds and of course the river which made for a perfect backdrop for such a sweet couples wedding photos.

Leanne and Michael’s reception was held in Maclean as well. Guest enjoyed a buffet main course and dessert followed by dancing and of course the wedding cake.

It was a very enjoyable day with such an awesome couple. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. We are looking forward to posting over your photos this week. We will post some more on facebook soon.

Recently while Esther and Phil were visiting from down Sydney to make some of the final plans for the wedding I was able to caught up with them for their engagement session.  Both Mike and I really love to met our couples before the wedding particular after lots of email correspondence.

Esther looked awesome in her orange dress…  and  Esther’s shoes were to gorgeous!  A Super Cute outfit!! Esther and Phil are a really adorable couple, they were a lot of fun to photograph. We had the engagement session at the Botanical Gardens. It had been a little while since I had photographed a couple in the gardens so I was excited for their session. In the later afternoon the light is really amazing.  It created some beautiful Skin tones… Amazing guys.

It was awesome to catch up with this very awesome couple and hear all about their plans for the wedding which will be held in September at the beautiful Aanuka Beach Resort. Looking forward to the wedding 🙂

Recently Mike and I caught up with Jenna and Ashley amounst their shift working and all the wedding planning for their engagement session. This couple are just way too cute. We really enjoyed our session with Jenna and Ashley. They have so much life and their love for each other is so special.

We met Ashley and Jenna at the Jetty and then they followed us out to this little country themed area that we just love to photograph in. The light this afternoon was amazing. It was so beautiful.

Ashley and Jenna are getting married next week in Ballina as they are up from that the northern parts of NSW. Mike and I are super excited for your wedding guys.

I feel terrible that it’s taken forever to share Courtney and Adrian’s engagement session on the blog with you all. It’s been a crazy couple of weeks with the purchasing of our Photo Booth and our trip to Melbourne. We are on top of things now and finally back to doing the things we love of which is sharing our amazing couples sessions on our blog.

Courtney and Adrian live up north so while they were down doing some wedding planning I took the opportunity to catch up with them for their engagement session. We choose a more of a country them which is rather cute. Adrian and Courtney are getting married on the 30th of September at the very stunning Bonville Golf Resort. – One of our favorite venues in Coffs. Not only is Bonville beautiful, The staff are amazing and make the wedding a real breeze for their couples but the food is to die for!! I love having a wedding meal at Bonville- mmmm you can kinda tell im getting a little hungry LOL!
