I’m so excited to finally sit down and reflect on the gorgeous wedding of Rachel and Andy. Rach and Andy were married a couple of weeks ago at the beautiful Beach Stone Cafe at Sapphire Beach. It was such a perfect day! The sun was shinning and the temperature wasn’t too hot or cold. Just perfect.

I started the day with Andy and his boys. Andy and the boys had spent the morning at the beach so were a little late arrive back for the photographs which I though was rather funny. Boys are so opposite to girls. After capturing some great moments of the boys I headed over to Rach and her gorgeous bridesmaids who were getting ready about 15-20min away from the boys at an amazing beach house at Sapphire. It was gorgeous and awesome to photograph in as there was lots of interesting quirky things in the room.

Rach’s dress was gorgeous. Rach had picked her fabric which was the most amazing feeling lace and then had Jade Kohl design and make her dress for her. It was perfect Rach …. It would have felt amazing to wear… I wanted to keep touching it. The bridesmaids wore a deep red bridesmaid dress which went really well with the selections of white roses. The bouqets were so beautiful! The girl’s hair and makeup was done by Living Doll hair and makeup.

The girls arrived at the ceremony in Combi Vans… An awesome touch for a beach wedding. Rach and Andy were married on the lawns at the Cafe …. the intention was to be married on the beach but unfortunately the tides were not quiet right for this to happen. The lighting during the ceremony was amazing. It was a little warm in the sun but made for amazing back lighting… A really romantic feel to the ceremony.

After the ceremony we snapped a few photos with the Combi’s before they headed off and then we moved into family photos. All the photos were taken around the cafe and on the beach just in front of Beach stone. The bridal party was awesome to work with and Rach and Andy were a lot of fun to photograph. I had been looking forward to their wedding for since their engagement session. They were too cute to photograph during that session so was excited about the wedding.

It was such a beautiful day. I hope that you both enjoyed the reception and had an awesome time with your guests. Sorry that it’s taken a little longer than normal to post your images on the blog.. .But your images are in the post so they will arrive this week.

Our blogging has been a little slack lately…. We have been so consumed in setting up our new office and focusing on some exciting new developments that we have neglected some of the more important things.

Some weeks ago now Mike and I met with Bek and Scott out at Bellingen for their engagement session. Bek and Scott travelled up from Mussellbrock for their session…. Thanks so much guys! We really appreciate the effort our gorgeous couples put into their sessions.

Bek and Scott’s wedding will be held in October out in Tamworth!! It’s going to come around so fast. I can’t believe it’s already heading towards Mid April… Crazy Crazy!! I really do think the years fly by quicker than the previous years LOL!

Bek and Scott were so much fun to photograph. They have awesome personalities and a great sense of humor. We are really excited to share their special day with them…. They are super organised and have put a lot of thought into making their day perfect! Can’t wait guys!!

So sorry it’s taken a really long time to blog these gorgeous images of you both but im sure you’ve probably received your images by now and will forgive us!

After photographing Joh and Andrew’s eshoot in the morning it was almost time for me to start photographing Gemma and Troy’s big day.

It was in the lovely town of Taworth, on a beautiful sunny day. I began with Troy and his groomsmen. It was great at the room they were getting ready in, mum and dad were there and his two brothers were his groomsmen, it made it all a really nice family thing and was a lot of fun to photograph. With the exception of the wrong colour tie at first, everything else went great and it was time to head over to see Gemma.

Gemmas dress looked beautiful and her shoes had the “I do ” written along the back which added a nice touch. The little house that she chose to get ready in had some awesome light coming in, and the shots were coming out beautifully.

After not too much time it was time for the ceremony. This was held at the beautiful grounds at the Pavillion, one of our favourite places to photograph in Tamworth. Gemma arrived in some cool vintage cars and her proud dad then took her down the aisle to one very happy Troy waiting at the front.

After the ceremony, group photo, and family portraits we could then get on with the photo shoot! The grounds at the Pavillion provided the backdrop for practically the entire shoot, with a quick trip down the road to an old hall as well. After all the bridal party shots had been taken we then took advantage of the best light with just Gemma and Troy as the sun started to set in the background.

It was then time for the reception, as I prepared my slideshow of wedding images for the evening the guests mingled and enjoyed some great food. Formalities then kicked in and it was time for some brilliant speeches, the cake cut and plenty of dancing.

You will have to forgive us for not keeping up with blogging for this last week, we have had the fun of moving house… yeah, ‘fun’. But we are all settled now and everything is back to normal! And there are plenty of entries coming! Apologies to everyone waiting!

A couple of weeks back I travelled to Tamworth for the wedding of Gemma and Troy, in the morning though I met up with an awesome couple Joh and Andrew for their engagement photos.

We did the photos in the beautiful King George Road, one of our favourite spots to shoot in Tamworth. Great big trees line the road and it always makes for some awesome shots.

Joh and Andrew were a fantastic couple to photograph, and I had a great time on the shoot. The wedding is coming up so fast now and we look forward to the big day! Till then here’s some pics!

A couple of weekends ago Mike and I were privileged to attend the wedding of Lauren and Andy. We were worried that we wouldn’t be able to make it done to Kempsey for Lauren and Andy’s wedding as the weekend before the roads were all closed to Kempsey. Thank goodness they had opened again by the time we were due to travel down for the wedding. We wouldn’t have wanted to miss their wedding!!

Lauren and Andy’s wedding was really a lot of fun. I started the day with the girls who were getting ready in a house that was owned by Lauren’s Mum’s Friend. It was a really amazing place to photograph such a cute bride getting ready. While I was with the girls Mike was over at the boys capturing the happenings there. The couple of hours before the ceremony went so fast and we were soon on our way to the Ceremony.

Lauren and Andy’s ceremony was held at the Catholic church in Kempsey. There ceremony was short as a full mass wasn’t performed. I thought it was very touching that Lauren walked herself down the aisle. Andy’s expression as she walked down the aisle was gorgeous. Such a cute couple.

After the ceremony we did a group photo of everyone who was present at the ceremony. Lauren had arranged for balloons to be let of during this photo.. A very cute idea! We than moved on to our family photos… Thanks to all the family, you guys were awesome … we got through our lists very quickly.

The photos were taken around crescent head and the beaches there. Lauren loves her horse so was very fitting that he was featured in some of the photos. Our bridal party on the day were amazing!! So good to Lauren and Andy!! They are privileged to have such great friends.

After our photos we headed down to Port Macquarie for the reception which was held a the Mecure hotel. It was an amazing veiw and the food was awesome. Mike and I had the Salmon!! Yum Yum 🙂 We really enjoyed the reception there was so much emotion to capture … It was great fun. The atmosphere was really beautiful.
