Jess & Scott’s Beautiful Bonville Wedding
So excited to share this very gorgeous wedding with you all. Jess and Scott were married at the end of December. In fact their wedding was our last wedding for 2012. Last year went so fast. We are looking forward to doing a highlights of 2012 blogs in the coming days 🙂
Jess and Scott both got ready at Bonville Golf Resort. It was also the beautiful location for their wedding and reception. We started the day with Scott and his boys who were at the club house having a few pre wedding drinks awaiting our arrival. The boys were great as they were completely ready and even seemed excited to see us. It was great to catch up a little with Mark who was a groom we had the privilege of photographing previously!!
After some pre wedding photos with the boys we headed over to Jess and her girls! They were super organised and was such a pleasure to photograph! Jess’ dress was amazing and she looked beautiful! Our bridesmaids were so helpful and a real pleasure to have around. We captured a few images both inside and outside of Jess and her girls while they were preparing for the ceremony.
The ceremony was held in the gorgeous rainforest. The ceremony was conducted by Betsy White. She is so sweet and did a beautiful job of the ceremony as per usual. Jess’ mum had the honors of walking her gorgeous girl down the aisle. She looked so proud!! I almost shed a tear myself!
Following the ceremony we capture a group photo and family photos before stopping for a break. All the photos were taken around bonville. It is such a gorgeous location and has too many places to pick from for photos. The photo time goes so fast and before long it was time to head back into the guest for the reception.
All in all Jess and Scott’s day was perfect. Thanks so much for sharing such a special day of your life with us. It was awesome. We hope you had an awesome honeymoon. So excited to share these images with you.

Leilani and Jamie’s Wedding
Leilani and Jamie were married a few weeks ago in the beautiful Macksville, Nambucca Heads area. I started with Jamie and the boys to do their photos, got some great shots of them mucking around together, trying to iron their handkerchiefs and just having some fun. Then it was to the girls for their portraits. Leilani got ready at her parents beautiful big house. The lighting was beautiful in the house, and we were able to get some really nice shots of the girls there, not to mention all the crazy goings on that are commonplace when getting ready for a wedding!
After the bridal prep it was to the ceremony. Leilani and Jamie got married in the Macksville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. It was 1pm, and very hot outside, so I was really pleased to be indoors at that time of day! The ceremony and marriage talk were very nice and once the formalities were done it was time for the photo shoot.
Leilani and Jamie had a few places in mind for the photos, we visited a really cool old cottage and did the first part of our shoot there, before stopping for some refreshments and then heading to the beach for some more shots. We were then able to get some shots with the cool old cars they had and then head to the reception venue.
We did a few more photos there, around the nice big trees, and then headed to the reception where we wrapped up the group and family photos and a few decoration shots. Then it was time for me to head home.
Thanks for an awesome day Jamie and Leilani!
Heres a few pics to look at for now!!

Josh and Sam’s Wedding!
A little while back now, after doing Heather and Ben’s Wedding in Coffs Harbour on the friday, it was off to Armidale for me to photograph the wedding of Sam and Josh over that weekend. Having done the engagement session previously I was really looking forward to photographing their wedding. I certainly wasn’t disapointed!
The day started in Armidale with Josh and his groomsmen getting ready at his house, and then to where Sam and her bridesmaids were. After doing the preperation shots we hopped in the cars and headed to the wedding. The ceremony as well as the photo shoot and reception was held at the Merilba Estate Winery, located between Tamworth and Armidale. We arrived with plenty of time and whilst the girls hid out I was able to get a few shots of the beautiful decorations and people arriving. Before too long though it was time for the ceremony to begin, Josh was beaming as Sam and her proud father walked down the aisle, the $5 payment to her dad was a nice touch Josh! The scene was then set for the ceremony. It was located outside an old barn which looked really cool, and you could see great big storm clouds circling on the horizon.
After the group and family photos, we started on the portraits on the beautiful grounds around the estate. Everything from old buildings, to trees, fields and long grass was there. Plenty of variety in the one location. Teesh, who will soon have her wedding photographed by Amy, was the MC for the evening, and did a beautiful job, the whole day went off really well, the speeches were funny, the food great, then it was time to dance. After our slideshow it was time for me to finish up.
It was a great wedding to be a part of, here’s some pics! The rest too have been posted so you should be recieving them soon!!

Lauren & Paul’s Aanuka Beach Resort
What a few weeks it has been. I can’t believe that 2012 is over and we are already onto the second day in 2013!! And what a year it will be. Very excited. I’m also excited to recap on 2012 later in the week.
A big apologies to Lauren and Paul for taking my time in blogging their beautiful wedding. Lauren and Paul’s wedding was held on early in December. In fact their wedding day was the day that my father pasted away so it’s been a little challenging to share their wedding as it has such mixed emotions… such excitement and happiness for such a cute couple and then sadness for my family.
Lauren and Paul’s wedding was beautiful. It was held at Aanuka Beach resort. Both Lauren and Paul prepared for their special day at the resort. I started with Paul who had all the boys getting ready with him!! They were so easy-going and great to photograph. I soon headed over to the girls who weren’t far from the boys villa. Kelli was putting the final touches on the hair and makeup while i captured the details of the wedding. It was soon time for Lauren to put her dress on. What an exciting time that is. I think that every girl must really feel like a bride once the dress finally goes on. I think it’s the time where all the nerves start to kick in.
After we laced Lauren’s dress we captured a few images of the shoes being put and her jewelry before a few bridal images. It always goes so fast the time spent before the wedding. We headed over to the ceremony which was held at the chapel! The ceremony was sweet and personal!
Following the ceremony we were able to get a few family and friends photos outside the chapel and then stopped for a short break as the kiddies and the bridal party were getting a little hungry. We than started the formal part of the shoot. Lauren and Paul stayed at Aanuka for their photos as there is so much their to work with.
It was a very enjoyable day. I hope that you had an awesome reception with your friends and family and enjoyed your time away after the wedding.
So excited to finally share these photos with you all. Your images are in the post and you should receive them shortly!

Heather & Ben
Finally back to blogging for us!! The next three wedding entries are mine so that should help explain why there has been such a delay… I am hopeless at writing! Sorry!
The wedding of Heather and Ben though was absolutely beautiful, and yes, of course I can find things to write about it.
We started with Heather and the girls at a beautiful big house overlooking the ocean, Kelli T did the make-up and what a beautiful job she did! Heather looked stunning. It was a lot of fun photographing the girls in such a beautiful, wel lit house and it made for wonderful images.
After the getting ready shots and bridal portraits it was time to head over to Ben and his brother who were waiting at the Botanic Gardens in Coffs Harbour. I really don’t know why more people don’t choose to use the botanic gardens for their weddings as the gardens are beautiful. The lighting is incredible there amidst the trees and it is quickly becoming one of my favourite spots to shoot.
Heather and Ben had a beautiful ceremony conducted by Gayle Mckosker, it was relaxed, yet dignified and a pleasure to photograph. I have to say how much I love the series of images as Heather and Ben walk back down the aisle and everyone is blowing bubbles, Ben’s facial expressions are priceless.
For the first part of the shoot we stayed around the gardens, it was nice and cool under the shade of all the big trees which was an added bonus. Then it was time to head to the beach for some more shots. The beach was just near the surf club and by the time we got there the lighting was magnificent and you could see how rich the colours of the water and sand were, not to mention our awesome subjects Heather and Ben!
Before long it was time for the reception at the surf club, the entrance was very relaxed and quite funny as Ben walked in munching on some snacks! The night went off without a hitch and once formalities were sone it was time for me to go. 🙂
All the best guys, your wedding was beautiful and relaxed, the bridal party was fantastic and you were both a pleasure to work with. Thankyou.
Here are a few pics, the discs will be posted out to you shortly!
