Jacinta & Anthony

December 17, 2012

Recently Mike and I headed out to Tamworth for the last time for the year to photograph the wedding of Jacinta and Anthony. They are such a cute couple. It’s taken me forever to share the photos with you all we are sorry about that!

Jacinta and Anthony are an awesome couple. They actually live in Victoria but travelled up to Tamworth to share their special day with friends and family. The wedding day was the first day we had met Jacinta and Anthony they were awesome. Mike and I knew it was going to be a great day!

We started the day with Anthony and his boys at a little house they had hired just down the road from Jacinta’s parents home. The boys were so organised and looked great in their suits! I love it when suits are fitted properly… the guys look fantastic! The time with the boys flow… It was so hot outside when we did some of the portraits for the boys that we couldn’t spend too much time with them.

The girls were preparing for their big day just down the road. Jacinta’s parent’s house was amazing for photos… so awesome! I was rather excited to see what we had to photograph when we arrived! Jacinta’s dress was amazing… really beautiful! I loved the bridesmaids dresses too! You guys pulled the wedding together so well!

It was so time to head to the ceremony. Jacinta was surprised by a limo that her Dad had arranged for her to be taken to the wedding in! I think she was rather surprised. The wedding was held at St Nicholas’ Church just down the road from the family home. The ceremony went very smoothly and we were soon outside taking a few family photos. We couldn’t spend much time around the church for photos as there was another wedding booked for just after our amazing couples wedding.

Jacinta and Anthony had a few places chosen for the photos… It was a great selection to give a good variety of photos 🙂 We started at the Old post office in Tamworth, we spend about half and hour there before we rushed over to King George Ave as it looked like it was going to start pouring. It only sprinkled for a little which was great we were able to capture so truly beautiful moment for them! After our time at King George Ave we headed out to the Tangarratta Vineyard where the reception was being hosted. It is extremely beautiful out there! It made for a perfect backdrop for photos and was enhanced by the storm clouds rolling in! 🙂

Jacinta and Anthony’s guest entered the reception a little earlier than normal as it did start to rain. Jacinta and Anthony made an awesome entrance into their reception with the Lebanese drums and all their guest dancing with them!! Was a fantastic atmosphere and set a great mood for the reception!!

Guys we had an awesome time…. We hope you really enjoyed yourself in USA. Safe travels home and we will chat to you soon.

Leilani & Jamie’s Engagement Session

December 13, 2012

Recently I met up with Leilani and Jamie for their engagement photos at the Stuart Island reserve at Nambucca Heads. Leilani and Jamie will be getting married tomorrow so I thought I better blog their engagement session!

It was such a breeze photographing you both, you were so relaxed and a lot of fun, very natural too which makes my job easy!

Nambucca Heads is a great spot for photos, there’s tonnes of variety, we only just visited a really small area for the engagement photos and it was beautiful. We spent most the time amidst the trees and alongside the creek, the clouds made for some nice lighting and as an added bonus it didn’t rain. 🙂

Here’s a few pics for now, looking forward to photographing your wedding tomorrow!!

Elizabeth & Adrian’s Tamworth wedding

December 12, 2012

Recently Mike and I were over in Tamworth for the wedding of Elizabeth and Adrian. It was a huge weekend! The Saturday morning Mike and I made the trip down to the Cold Play concert in Sydney which was awesome!!! We loved it. We stayed a little out of Sydney that night and then drove over to Tamworth for Liz and Adrian’s Sunday afternoon wedding!  Or should I say… Mike drove all but 50km and I slept. Anyone that know me knows that I really don’t enjoy driving! It was rather wired having a Saturday off and a Sunday wedding but loved it!! Thanks to you guys we got to see Cold Play LOL!!

It was an awesome day at their wedding so relaxed! It was a great way to end the weekend. Mike and I didn’t start until later in the afternoon. We started the day with Adrian as his Mum’s house!! We loved the house… very vintage and Antique… so cool! Made for some great images. After spending some time with Adrian and some of his family members we headed over to Liz’s parent’s place where  our gorgeous Liz was preparing. It was awesome to spend time with just our gorgeous bride as Liz didn’t have bridesmaids, her brothers were of a great help to her thou!!

The ceremony was hosted by the gorgeous Pavillion in Tamworth. The ceremony was held under the big tree! Such a pretty location for a ceremony. The ceremony was very sweet and the weather was gorgeous for the ceremony and photo shoot! After the ceremony was completer we captured a few family photos before heading to a few locations around the Pavillion for the photos!

The light was so amazing around the Pavillion, The afternoon sun was a fantastic colour!! Loved it!!

It was so awesome to spend your special day with you both guys! We hope that you had the most amazing and enjoyable time on the honeymoon and you arrive back safe and sound.

Here are just a few images from the special time we shared with Liz and Adrian on their wedding day!!

Tesh & Dave’s Engagement Session

December 5, 2012

Recently I caught up with Tesh and Dave for their engagement session!  It has been a tough week this week with the passing of my father! I will miss him greatly. I’ll be taking time off over the coming weeks to spend time with my family and reflect on the beautiful time we had with Dad before he was sick., but we will ensure that our personal lives don’t interfere with the special times that are coming up for some of our gorgeous brides, Mike will be looking after you all, sharing blogs, facebook posts and capturing your special days!!

We met at the Jetty for the session! It was a little windy but the light was really great! I had an awesome time on the shoot! I think I laughed so much that my tummy hurt when i got home! It was so much fun!! I was really looking forward to catching up with you both again at Sam and Josh’s wedding on the weekend but unfortunately I won’t be able to make it up to Armidale for the wedding.

I’m so excited to share your special day with you guys next year and I hope you have an awesome time at the wedding on Saturday.  You engagement images should arrive in the mails shortly!!

Candie and Aaron’s Wedding!

November 29, 2012

A couple of weeks ago now I had the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Candie and Aaron!

Both Aaron and Candie got ready in South West Rocks, a nice little town on the coast just a short drive from Kempsey. Aaron and his best man were first to be photographed, and everything was organised at the boys room. I think Candie had them sorted real well! After a few pics of them I headed over to where Candie was getting ready. It was a beautiful old room that made for some great photos.

I have to admit whilst I tend not to look at weather forecasts or the radar for rain, I did this day as the rain just didnt seem to want to stop!

Thankfully when it came time for the reception the rain had eased off a little. The reception was at a beautiful property just out of Kempsey. Aaron and Candie were awesome as they braved the wet weather, the ceremony went beautifully and then family photos, and a few shots of our happy couple were all done before the rain really started coming down. Thanks for being good sports and not minding getting a bit wet!!

We headed to another location which was also a property for some more shots and then to the reception venue.

You guys did an awesome job setting up the hall, it looked fantastic!

Here are some of the pics from the day!! The discs will arrive at your place shortly. 🙂
