Angela & Kevan’s Wedding | Coffs Harbour | Mike & Amy
A few weeks ago I spent the day with Angela and Kevin capturing a very special day in their lives. Kevan’s love for Golf attracted this adorable couple to one of Coffs Harbour’s leading wedding venues- Bonville Golf Resort. Its such an amazing, peaceful place.
The ceremony was held in the rainforest at the resort. The rainforest is very romantic and beautiful place to hold a ceremony. After a short and sweet ceremony family and friends gathered together for their photos with the couple before we made the most of the grounds around the resort to capture some memories. Kevan and Angela also travelled off location to Sawtell Beach and main street for a few images.
The reception was held in the resturant and as usual the food and service didn’t skip a beat. The guest were entertained by Marcus from Pacific Blue Entertainment.
It was such a special day to be part of and capture. So delighted to share a little sneak of the photos with you all. We will share some more on facebook soon.

Recently I made a trip to up to Coffs Harbour to photograph at the gorgeous wedding of Tiarna & Glen. Such an awesome day it was 🙂 I love capturing every minute of this day was perfect in everyway.
Our day started with capturing some images of Glen and then boys getting ready for the ceremony. With alittle assistance from Glen’s mum they were all ready and we were able to capture some awesome grooms portraits. Before long I was on my way our to Tiarna and her girl girls. It was so lovely to see the girls from Melanie Jane Bridal who assisted Tiarna getting into her dress.
The ceremony was held on the lawn at Opal Cove Resort. Cindy done a beautiful job of the ceremony 🙂 It’s always a pleasure working with Cindy 🙂
The ceremony was followed by family photos and then photos of our gorgeous couple and bridal party.

Fiena and John’s Wedding | Yarra Valley | Mike & Amy
The Saturday just before last I photographed the wedding of Fiena and John at the beautiful DeBortolis Winery in the stunning Yarra Valley region just outside of Melbourne. I started just before the ceremony began for them, they had people come from all over the place to witness them marry. The ceremony was very intimate, with an incredible view, and Fiena & John both looked fantastic.
We did the usual family photos after the ceremony, followed by our portrait shoot around the gardens and grape vines. The bridal party was a lot of fun too, and we were able to get some awesome shots of them too.
Soon enough the sun started to go down and we headed into the reception, only to reappear a little later for just a few more shots… I know, I know it’s always just ‘a few more shots’!
Here’s a few more photos from the day, enjoy!

Stacey & Grant’s Wedding | Coffs Harbour | Mike & Amy
Earlier in the month I had a the pleasure of capturing the memories of Grant and Stacey’s special day. They traveled to Coffs Harbour for their wedding as it is a place they both love and its where Grants parents live. Coffs Harbour is certainly a gorgeous place to have a wedding.
I started the day with Grant and captured a few images of him getting ready for the ceremony. Grant was surrounded by his family while he prepared for the day. Their was no offical bridal party so capturing images was pretty quick. It was soon time to head over to Charlesworth Bay to where Stacey was getting ready with her family.
The holiday house they had hired was perfect- just outside the front was where the ceremony was to be held. Stacey had her little dog Lucy with her while she prepared for the ceremony. She was super cute and I was in love. Grant- Im sorry for all the photos of Lucy.
The ceremony was held on the lawns over looking Charlesworth Bay and was followed by photos of friends and family at the same location. Stacey and Grant had their photos taken at Charlesworth Bay. The reception was held at the Coffs Harbour racing club.
It was an awesome day – thank you for trusting me to capture your special day.
Here are a few more images from the day. Ill share some more on facebook shortly.
Congratulations Stacey and Grant.

Julia and Lucas | Melbourne Wedding | Mike & Amy
Can’t believe how fast this week has gone, but I am so excited to share with you the beautiful wedding of Julia and Lucas from last Saturday. The sun was shining, the temperature was perfect, right from the outset I could tell it was going to be a fantastic day.
Lucas and his groomsmen were ready to go when I arrived, which made things run smoothly right from the beginning, they didn’t look half bad either as I’m sure Julia will attest to…
After a few photos with the guys at the best man Heath’s house we then headed to the girls. Everyone was busily doing the preparations for the wedding with Julia’s mum Ruth applying some finishing touches for the afternoon tea whilst Julia and her girls were getting their hair and makeup finished. The time flew by and after a few quick portraits it was time to head to the church.
Julia and Lucas chose to marry at the Ormond Anglican Church which catered brilliantly for the number of guests that they had come along and the ceremony went very well, I remember you both telling me how it felt like just a few minutes! Afternoon tea followed along with a group photo, it sure seemed like all the guests had a great time and it was obvious how much effort had gone into making it a day to remember even by this point.
Soon after we traveled to the St Kilda Botanical Gardens for the formal part of the shoot before heading to The Gables for some more photos, then the family portraits and of course the reception.
The reception was a lot of fun, the food was great, the guests clearly had a good time, Lucas slideshow he had made for Julia was a treat and I particularly liked the horse costume in Ross’s speech!
Here are a few more photos for now! Enjoy!
