Tesh & Dave’s Aanuka Beach Wedding
Can’t believe it’s been a week already since Tesh and Dave’s wedding and it’s already the first weekend in March! Time certainly does fly! Last Saturday Tesh and Dave and their closest family and friends gathered at the beautiful Aanuka Beach Resort to witness and celebrate the marriage of such a gorgeous couple. The weather the last few weeks has been terrible as all of us know who live on the east coast of Australia. The weather did pose some problems for Tesh and Dave. Many of their guest travelled down from Armidale and the surrounding areas. There were so many road closures that many of the guests had to camp over on the dorrigo mountain, some found other ways to travel through… driving to Grafton and then down the highway and Tesh and Dave’s DJ even caught a last-minute flight from Armidale to Sydney and then Sydney to Coffs. Despite all of the weather problems Tesh and Dave had an awesome day. They really were thankful to all their family and friends who made such a big effort to make it to their special day!
I started the day as per usual with Dave first. Dave and Tesh didn’t have a bridal party so it was nice to be able to capture images of us our couple getting ready 🙂 It was such a humid morning, I did feel bad for Dave! After a few images with Dave I headed back over to Tesh who was having the final touches done to her hair! Tesh looked amazing. I was so excited to see her dress … it was gorgeous and suited her so much 🙂 Tesh purchased her dress from RSVP bridal in Coffs. They have a gorgeous selection of dress, Megan yesterday purchased her dress from the team at RSVP and Emma today also. All you girls should check them out!
Tesh and Dave were married in the chapel at Aanuka… Its a great back up plan if the weather is bad. The ceremony was really beautiful and was full of emotion. I love seeing and capturing the emotion of a wedding day!! It really makes our job special. After the ceremony a group photo was taken before progressing on to family photos.
As it was only Tesh and Dave to photograph we headed into the Jetty to have a few images there. It was surprising how many people were at the Jetty considering the weather was so ordinary. I was so thankful that the rain held off for Tesh and Dave. We were able to capture some gorgeous images. I
It was an awesome day guys. Thanks so much for sharing it with me. I hope that you are having an awesome time on Hamilton Island!! So jealous. I hope that the weather is nice up there for you!
Here are just a few images from the day. 🙂 I will upload some more onto facebook shortly.

India- Part 2
Finally we have had a chance after all the catching up we’ve had to do because of being away we have finally had a moment to share some of the other images from our time in India.
Mike and I really loved India… I think we mentioned that in our last entry. India was so full of charm and colour. It was certainly one of the most photogenic places we have been besides East Africa of course. This next set of Images takes us from Maheshwar through to Delhi.
Maheshwar is a holy city were Pilgrims travel to bath in the secret river that runs through the town. It is the same river that runs through Omkareshwar. Â We only stopped for an hour or so in Maheshwar before we continued our trip to Mandu from Omakareshwar.
Mandu was an interesting place. The entire town is surrounded by a wall. There are a lot of Muslim monuments in Mandu so we spent an afternoon visiting palaces, Mosques and other ruins. The following day we made our way to Sanchi which is the home to Buddhist Monuments. We spent a morning in Sanchi as this is all we really needed to see the monuments and then we made our way to Orchha by train and car. Orchha was one of our favourite places from this trip. It has a really lay back atmosphere. The people are really friendly and there are certainly some interesting places to visit.  Our favorite place at Orchha was the Orchha Palace. It was so amazing. It isn’t in use now as is true of many of the places that we visited. The architecture was amazing. We loved it!
From Orchha we visited the rural town of Chanderi. The journey to Chanderi was rather  interesting. We took too local buses and my goodness… we have travelled on many buses through Asia but I’m sure this was the most painful journey we have experienced on an Asia bus. When we arrived in Chanderi we could see why we had made the trip there. It was such a charming little town and relatively untouched by tourism. One thing we loved about this place was there were no beggars or people trying to sell you things. We had some of the most amazing Masala Chai in Chanderi and I think the most amazing food. We went for a home cooked dinner at one of the locals places in the town and it was amazing food… so good!!
From Chanderi we made our way to Agra were we spent about 2 days. Agra is the home of the Taj Mahal. We were rather excited to arrive in Agra as the Taj is one of our main reason for travelling to India, other than the food of course. The Taj Mahal is really amazing. This Marbel structure is a must for everyone to see. We can certainly see why it is considered one of the 7 wonders of the world. There were so many people visiting the Taj which I think is probably normal. We found it very amusing that the entrance fee to the Taj Mahal for foreigners is about $15 but for the locals it is about 30 cents… it’s rather funny!!
From Agra we than travelled to Delhi were only spent a day shopping and visiting new Delhi before our flight home. We really enjoyed our time in India and are certainly ready to get back into the wedding season which is certainly underway. We are super excited  for all our brides this season… They are all gorgeous people!!
Enjoy these few images from the trip… we will post some more on our facebook page soon! Our blogging our gorgeous couples will start soon also 🙂

India- Part 1
This week Mike and I got back from our break in India. It was an amazing trip. We really loved India and would love to return one day. Mike and I didn’t have much time to plan the trip as the end of last year was rather crazy so we booked a tour with Intrepid from Mumbai to Delhi! India was an amazing place to visit and so much to photograph. We had trouble deciding which photos we should share with you all on our blog. We thought it would be nice to share them in two separate entries.
Our tour was for 15 days and started in Mumbai. We did some sight-seeing around Mumbai the first day of our tour. We visited the gateway to India which is close to the hotel where the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks were. There was so many people. Both tourist and locals. The square around the gateway is a popular place for the locals to take a walk and have a picnic with the family in the afternoon. Mike and I really enjoyed photographing the people and their activities here, it was amazing. The same afternoon we visited the beach in Mumbai. The following day we made our way to Aurangabad by train.
There was so much to see around Aurangabad. The first afternoon there we visited a Fort. It was a Sunday so there was lots of Indian tourist about and many wanted photos with us which is rather funny considering we are their to photograph their country and them as people! LOL. We spent our third day in Aurangabad also. We visited Ellora Caves. They are amazing. There are some 34 caves built into the side of the mountain. All were used for Hindu and Buddhist worship. Many of the Caves are still used by the local people as a place of worship. It’s really amazing to think that they were all built by hand. Â We also visited Bibi Ka Muqbara, which is a mini Taj Mahal. It was built by the Son of the builder of the Taj Mahal.
Our next major destination after Aurangabad was Omkareshwar. On our was to Omkareshawar we stopped at Jalgaon which is not far from the Ajanta Caves which are Buddhist Caves. They were also amazing. Omakareshwar had so many photo opportunities as it is considered one of the 12 Holy Cities for the Hindu people. Mike and I went for an early morning walk so we could watch the pilgrims and the locals go through the rituals. It was rather fascinating.
There were so many images from our first week or so but have just picked a few to share with you all and will post some more of the second part of the trip over the coming days.

Karla & Jeff
Mike and I are soo…. excited we are heading to India tomorrow morning so Im up late tonight sharing all our gorgeous couples on the blog before we take three weeks leave before we start a huge wedding session at the end of Feb.
Last week I met with Karla and Jeff at the Coffs Harbour Surf Club. It was the first time I had met with this very cute couple in person. I always look forward to putting a face to a name after emailing our beautiful brides for some time before the wedding.
Karla and Jeff are getting married in August. Karla is a local girl. They met in Coffs Harbour while Jeff was down here working. They are now living up north but will be exchanging vows in Karla’s hometown later in the year at the beautiful Bonville Golf resort and then celebrating with friends and family at the Coffs Harbour Surf Club. I was excited to hear about your wedding theme. Jeff doesn’t want it too be to girlie but im sure Karla will put everything together so beautifully and Jeff you will love it! Â Can’t wait to see!!
We photographed the engagement session at Park Beach and around the creek. It was a really fun session and the lighting was beautiful! Karla and Jeff are so natural together. I can’t wait to document their wedding day for them as they are a super cute couple and so easy to photograph.
Guys I hope that all the wedding plans will continue to go well and I look forward to chatting to you some more really soon about all the awesome plans.
Here are just a few images from your super cute session. I posted out your images today from Robina so you should have them in no time 🙂

Jess & Peter
Last Australia Day Saturday Mike and I had the privilege of spending the day with Jess and Peter at their gorgeous wedding. Mike started his day with the boys that were getting ready at the Bonville Golf Resort. The weather was a bit of a concern on the Saturday morning as the awful ex-cyclone was heading down the coast. Thankfully it didn’t hit really hit with its full force until after their wedding 🙂 The boys enjoyed a game of golf at the resort while the girls were at the hairdresser and makeup artist.
While Mike was with the boys at the golf resort I headed down to Macksville where Jess and her girls were preparing for the big day with her girls at their home. The girls were so organised. It was awesome to get there and have so much time to photograph as they were really well organised. We were able to capture so really cool photos of Jess getting her dress on.. I loved the enthusiasm of these girls when they zipped Jess’ dress up. As all brides know wedding dress can be a little tricky to get into!! Girls you were so cute!!
Jess was picked up from her home by a stretch hummer which had travelled up from Port. We stopped at the Macksville river for a few quick photos by the river before making our way up to the Golf resort where the ceremony and reception was being held. The ceremony was held in the gorgeous rainforest at the resort. I love the lighting in the rainforest. It’s always so beautiful!
After the ceremony the weather looked like it was coming over bad so the awesome staff at the resort help the guest get down the reception before the weather hit. Thankfully it did pass and we were able to take a group photo with the hummer and captured the family photos before we headed into the Jetty for some photos. We thought that the Jetty would be really windy but it wasn’t it was bearable and we were able to capture some truly beautiful moments for such a cute couple! We than returned to the Golf resort to finalize the formal part of Jess and Peter’s formal photos.
In true Australia Day style Jess and Peter had a BBQ for their reception meal! Bonville does a really great BBQ! The reception was really enjoyable and was awesome to share in their wedding day celebrations!
Thanks guys for a really fun day. We had a blast! Here are just a few of your images from your special day. We hope that you’re enjoying your honeymoon! We will chat to you when we return home from India in a few weeks.
