Recently Mike and I caught up with the gorgeous Jess and Scott while they were done doing some preparations for the wedding. It was awesome to met you both after all the emails! Really excited for the wedding now. Jess and Scott are planning their wedding for the end of December this year at the beautiful Bonville Golf Resort!!

We thought as the photos will be at Bonville that having beach images for the engagement session would be a great idea! We met with Jess and Scott at the Jetty and then visited two of the local beaches for a few images! They were so much fun!! Thanks for sitting in the uncomfortable washed up seaweed. They are some of my favorite images!!

Really excited for the wedding guys!! I hope all the plans are going well.

Recently while Mike was attending the wedding of Sara and Pascal I headed down to Port Macquarie for the wedding of Tilly and Rhett!! The drive down went so fast as I was excited to photograph their wedding for them!! Tilly and Rhett’s engagement session in September was so much fun so had been looking forward to the wedding!! How fast did their wedding come around!!

I started my day with Rhett and his boys! They were great and were able to capture some great moments while their were preparing to attend the ceremony! Tilly had the house very organised for the boys before she had left the day before it was way to organised for boys to have done it!! Sorry Rhett!! It was soon time to head over to the girls who were getting ready at the Mecure Hotel! The girls were waiting ever so patiently for me!! It made things run so smoothly as they were so organised!

The honeymoon suite that Tilly prepared for the wedding in with her girls had a view of the church which was awesome for Tilly and her girls as they watch all of the gorgeous guests arrive to the ceremony!! I’m not sure what that did for the nerves thou!!

Tilly and Rhett were married at the St Thomas Anglican Church in Port Macquarie. The ceremony was than followed by a group photo on the stairs outside the church followed by family photos!! All  of you were so great while I was organising you all with my little voice! Thanks so much to all the guests and family for being so wonderful!!

One of my favorite images from the day was that of Tilly and Rhett leaving the church and their guests throwing the confetti!! Awesome … It captures some of the emotions of the day so well!!

We headed down to main beach and the break wall for photos! The photo session flow by…. I couldn’t believe it!! We were able to capture some beautiful images as both Tilly and Rhett looked awesome!!! I loved the dress Tilly!! It was gorgeous!!!

The reception was held at the roof top at the Mecure! It was a gorgeous venue and the food was awesome! The reception was very lively! I loved what Tilly and Rhett had done with the paper lanterns on the dance floor! It was a great idea!! Mike loved it too!!

Last week I took the scenic drive out to Glennifer to meet up with the awesome couple Emma and Jason. While it was super windy here on the coast, out there it was just perfect. I’ve been excited to finally catch up with Emma and Jason for their shoot as Amy knew Emma from school.

Their wedding is planned for next March and will also be held out at Glennifer as Emma really loves this place. Something that I’m very happy about as it is an awesome spot for photos, there is so much variety and beautiful locations all so close together.

This was my first shoot using the new Canon 5d Mk3 camera body, Amy had been raving about it from her wedding last week and threatened not to let me use it, “if you want it, you have to buy another one” she said, so yes I guess we’ll have to do some more shopping.

I really enjoyed doing the photos for you, cant wait to see how beautiful the wedding will be!

It’s been a busy few weeks catching up with some of next years gorgeous brides and grooms. Tiahnn and Troy are planning their wedding for Mid January!! It was exciting to here all about their plans!!

I met Tiahnn and Troy at the Jetty and than we walked over to the north wall for most of their session before finishing at the Jetty!! When I arrived at the shot Troy looked so familar but I couldn’t place where I knew him from. We soon worked out that Troy was Mike’s boss when he worked in the produce department in Grafton Woolworths…. Way back when Mike and I were going out and first got married!! When I got home Troy, Mike was a little disappointted that he didn’t make it to the shoot but he will certainly catch up with you at the wedding!!

Im so sorry guys if I gave you a bit of a heart attack when I couldn’t work out the camera I had….. And than ran back to the car to get another one!!! You will be pleased to know that I can now use the 5D Mark III really well now…. I was so embrassed!! Sorry guys!! What a tool!! You think I would have looked at the camera before rocking up to a shoot with it!! LOL!!

Tiahnn looked gorgeous in her green dress!! They were so relaxed in front of the Camera!! You we guys were awesome to photograph and I can’t wait for the wedding day!!

Mike and I are certainly catching up on our blogging now….. there are still lots of weddings and engagement sessions to share with you all but we will just have to blog more recently!!

Last week I while Mike was photographing Sarah and Pascal I had the pleasure of spending an hour or so with the very adorable Kayla and Daniel! They too had their engagement session at the Jetty!! It really is a popular place to have a session!! I certainly think a new place to photograph appears down their every time we shoot there.  I first met Kayla at the North Coast Weddings workshop!! I was so excited to find discover that Kayla wanted to book her wedding with us as she is so full of life!!

I had an awesome time on the shoot!! Both Kayla and Daniel are very natural and cute in front of the camera!! I’m so excited to document their day for them and share their little story with you all!!
